Forum Rules

If you break any rule you'll be given a warning and instructed of any further action to be taken. If you break any other rule(s) after your warning, you'll be banned - potentially permanently depending on the offence.

This site is PG-13.
That means that no excessive use of language, sex, violence, and drug abuse. This is for the protection of all members, including yourself. We don't want any unnecessary offense caused to anyone, whatever age they may be.

Please use swear words in moderation. Again, excessive use can be offensive to others. Refrain from using the f-word and the c-word altogether, or you will be asked to edit your post.

Respect all members & admin.
This means that there will be no bullying members or admin, on the board, via PM, or in the chat box - basically, anywhere on the site. Everyone deserves to be treated fairly and with respect, the admin will make sure of this.

Graphics
Banners must be no larger than 500x200, and the ideal size for icons is 100x100, however you may choose to have a smaller one. This is so that the neither the banner nor the icon stretch and distort the board and the general site graphics.

Role Play Rules

Only role play your character.
A simple rule that should be obeyed at all times, unless granted permission by the other player. This also means that there will be no forcing other characters to do something without letting them respond first.

There will also be no marrying / getting other characters pregnant / killing characters without moderator and other character's approval. They're big, life changing events that effect characters profoundly. These sorts of choices must be well thought out before being brought into play.

OOC.
If you want to say something that's not in the RP, use OOC (out of character), and enclose it in double brackets, so that the other person knows it's you speaking, and not the other character. So we know you've read the rules, when you register a character, where it says 'Rules:' you put 'Understood. Over and out.'

God-moding.
This is where your character controls everything, can do anything it wants without getting injured or facing consequences; it's unfair, and egotistical, and ruins the fun - don't do it.

Characters.
There’s a character limit of 5 per player, this includes any made-ups you might make. If you think you can handle more than 5 characters, please pm the admin.

Love and respect your character. They are an extension of your imagination, and deserve to be well-thought out and treated right. Don't create a character on a whim, make sure that you're fully commited to seeing their story unfold before unleashing them on everyone else. Once they've begun interacting with other characters, they have connections which other people might not want to see broken. This not to say that you can't get rid of a character, that's your perogative, but be sure to discuss it with other people first, make sure that your needs are clear.

Activity.
Please stay active. There will be an activity check once a month. If you do not reply to the check, your character(s) will be deleted.
