Anna heard Ally loud and clear, but lingering on the point wouldn't move the conversation on. They decided to stay on the sofas and chatted for a while, ordering more drinks throughout. Anna kept to lighter drinks as suggested, but was still getting pretty tipsy all the same. She wasn't a big drinker, and with her lanky frame, there wasn't much to absorb the alcohol. Thank the Lord Ben wasn't here, he'd just laugh at her if he saw her drunk. In fact, he might have the pleasure of seeing that later.
Feeling more loose, she slipped her shoes off and pulled her feet up onto the sofa. Several men had already made a pass at Ally, she was so gorgeous, and she fended each of them off, but not without teasing them first. Anna was actually happy they hadn't tried anything with her. Usually she would be all up for it, but with the amount of intoxicating substances sloshing around in her system and Ben being almost constantly on her mind, she didn't feel up to it. It was fun watching Ally do it though.
"How do you even do that?" Anna said, "I mean, guys swarm to you in the first place, like bees to honey, then keep a straight face while you reject them, all while knowing that you love Luke like no other."

Drink after drink, and Ally was still lightly buzzed. Half of them were rather light, but she downed them anyway. Despite visiting clubs, she wasn't much of a dancer, and less so now with Luke. Her life had been changed that night she slow danced with him. When she began to feel her head swirl, she flopped onto the couch she was on.
The attention came almost instantly, in fact it continued to our throughout the night. Not that she cared, or even asked for it. It had been like this, pretty much her entire life. She hadn't asked for her high cheek bones, epic jawline, grey eyes or cascading soft curls, it just...happened, genetically. Her brother was also fairly attractive and was popular with the ladies. One by one, men sort of pooled over, trying their luck with the elusive Australian. She teased them, then put them right back in their place with one simple phrase. "I'm sorry, I'm seeing someone, and I'm madly in love, mate." Love was the turn off, not the fact that she was in a relationship. By the intensity in her eyes, they knew she wasn't kidding.
After most of them had given up, Anna finally spoke up about it. "It's because I've gotten it all my life. The guys are only physical though, never worth it. No one but Luke was ever worth it." She sighed, folding her leg over her other knee. "Don't think I always appreciated the attention. It's not as good as it seems. It's not worth it, trust me." Ally leaned over, taking a sip of her drink, only to backwash it again. "Men are like a game, and they're fun to play your way." she chuckled.

Anna snorted, managed not to choke while doing so - it wasn't the most graceful way to laugh, but was an unfortunate habit of hers. As long as people found it cute, it wasn't too embarrassing. "I'm sure," she said, about Luke. Anna knew exactly how Ally felt now, because she felt that way about Ben. She'd been a little jealous at first, not because Ally was with Luke specifically, but because she had someone who was nuts about her. And, to be honest she had no idea why but, Ben loved her, and he meant everything to her so... she most definitely knew how Ally felt.
She didn't know whether the alcohol was making her sentimental or something, but she leaned forward towards Ally and said, "you're like a sister to me too, you know." She bit her lip. "I mean, I would have killed to have someone like you as a sister while I was growing up. Someone who I could just talk to, who would listen, and I'd listen back. We'd be close, and play with each other's hair and stuff. That would have been amazing in comparison to what I had, my sucky parents, my damn brothers." She was getting carried away, but the words just came tumbling from her mouth with no real sense at all.

Ally chuckled, lightly, adjusting the couch to her back. She was almost confident Luke was not a partier, or the club type. He was too much of a good guy, which was why she was still baffled he had chosen t love such a rebel like her. She shook her head at the tough, reaching an arm around to tussle her loose curls.
Anna's words caught her completely off guard. Opening up was something she DID NOT do, and here she was spilling out these heavy words. Ally shifted, sitting up on the couch, to look Anna full on in the face with her ocean grey eyes. She wasn't sure how much Anna planned to let loose, or if she had even meant to say those words, but she had a feeling deep down in her heart, Anna wanted them released. Ally smiled softly. "You too." Was all she could manage. They were close now, well as close as they could be. She was always trying to live up to her brother, fighting for the attention, her parents ceased to give her. Anna was all Ally wanted growing up, and knew exactly how she felt.

Anna mustered a strained smile when Ally said that she wanted that too. She didn't understand exactly why she couldn't managed a proper smile until she realised that thinking about all that stuff had made tears well in her eyes and they were now streaming down her cheeks. "Oh my gosh," she said, fumbling quickly to wipe them away. She was crying in the middle of a club, this was ridiculous! Cursed alcohol, this was why she didn't get drunk. If she lost control over her body in any way, she got dangerously close to letting everything spill out. It had happened with Ben when she'd been bleeding to death. Now, apparently, with Ally when she was inhibriated.
"I'm so sorry," Anna said, glad she had the sense to put waterproof make up on, "I didn't mean to... I just..." She choked back more. "I can't do this any more."
