O591 gently put a hand on the side of H390's face, running his thumb along her cheek. "No need to rush then," he reassured her. "Take your time. Just breathe." He felt so bad, he wanted to do something, anything to make her happy again. Almost like instinct. He brushed her hair away from her forehead, hoping to keep it dry. Not that it was going to stay dry, seeing as they were on a boat, but that didn't matter.
Suddenly, she froze, then threw her arms around him. Ollie? "Hollie." The word popped out his mouth a few seconds before his brain made the connections. Oh, gods. "Hollie!" He crushed her in a tight bear-hug, twisting her around. He couldn't believe it. Now it all made sense. But then, she traced a hand across his face studying it intently. Now he knew why that seemed odd. "Hollie," he asked slowly, "Can you..." He didn't want to finish it. It almost seemed too good to be true, like it was wrong. Well, he knew it was, now.

Hollie felt so relieved when he remembered too, her arms clutching him just as tightly as he held her. She hadn't wanted to pull away, but she had to see his face. If this was just a dream or something then... She nodded fervently in response to his unfinished question, her throat unable to produce words. It was a miracle. "Yes," she breathed, "yes, I can see." Her eyes focused on his for the first time, meeting his for the first time. They were the exact same colour as the water around them, so blue and full of light.
Her brain immediately flooded with questions she wanted to ask, that she wanted answers to. But there was something that she wanted to do while she still could, while she could see. Not needing to feel her way around his face tentatively this time, she reached up and straight away found his lips, pressing hers against them, her hands in his hair - his thick, golden hair.

Ollie's mind was over-loading. This was... Words escaped him. No wonder he hadn't taken an English major. He could barely even describe what this was. Amazing didn't even begin to cover it. The widest smile spread across his face. Now he knew what that feeling was.
Then, she told him she could see. His expression dropped to a little more shock. He'd kind of guessed, but it still took him off-guard. How? Why? What had happened? He shook his head. It didn't matter. Whatever it was, she was happy, and so it was a blessing. He knew what was coming as she buried his hands in his hair, and tugged her close, wrapping his arms around her waist. He never wanted this to end, time be damned. This was perfect.

It was a couple of moments before Hollie felt safe enough to pull her lips away from his, resting her head against his shoulder instead, holding him tightly. She kept thinking that her sight was going to go away again, any moment now, but it was staying. She couldn't explain how or why, but right now, she didn't want to know. However long this lasted, she wanted to enjoy it. And who she wanted to enjoy it with was right here in her arms.
Laughing a little, she hapazardly wiped away her tears with the backs of her hands. "This is amazing," she said, pulling back to look at him again. "I was right," she said, smiling, "you are handsome." Not that she had anything to compare him with, but he was handsome to her. "Oh, I don't even know what I look like," she suddenly realised. She'd tried touching her own face to figure it out, but she'd never really known, or believed what people said about her.

It took Ollie a few moments to open his eyes after she pulled away. He didn't want the feeling to go away, he wanted it to stay here, with them. Blinking at her contentedly, he ran a hand through her hair a little. It was almost hard to believe, he had to admit, but he was very ready to accept it. He smiled. He hadn't felt this happy in... Ah, who cared.
He chuckled a little, leaning over a little to knock his forehead with her. He wanted to be as close to this moment as he could get. "Why, thank you," he beamed. "Nice first impression for me." He bopped her nose again, this time with his own. "Hmm... We'll, you're very pretty," he started rather lamely, with a chuckle. This would take a while. Unless... "Just two seconds," he insisted, jumping up on the mast with a marvelous new idea. He untied some of the ropes, letting the sail droop, then jumped back down beside Hollie and led her to the edge of the boat. They were slowing down considerably, almost at a stop, and the water was level. "What do you think?" he asked, looking down at their reflections. "Anything like you imagined?"

Hollie nuzzled her nose with his, unable to keep herself from smiling as she watched all his little mannerisms, expressions and movements, things that she had only been able to imagine before, but now she could actually see. She loved seeing the lines that formed in the corners of his eyes as he smiled, they made him look so happy. She giggled a little when he said that she was very pretty. "Seriously, that is the best you can come up with?" She stuck her tongue between her teeth, grinning up at him.
Watching him intently as he moved around the ship, she could feel herself practically bouncing inside. All of this was so overwhelming and so wonderful. He led her over to the side of the boat, this time not to guide her because she couldn't see, but just because he wanted her to see what he saw every day. Almost anxiously, she cast her gaze to her own reflection and let out an accidental gasp. It was a good thing her reflection gasped with her, otherwise she wouldn't have believed it was her.
"I... I d-dunno," she stuttered, running a hand through her long hair - now she could see why Ollie liked to play with it so much. Twisting her head to one side, and then the other, she smiled. She looked so... delicate? Was that the right word? "I used to think all the guys that used to say stuff about me were just playing with me," she said, looking up at Ollie again, "but... maybe they were right. I don't know. Either way," she took his hand in hers, "all I care about is that you like me, it doesn't matter about anyone else."

Ollie grinned cheekily, squishing her nose. He had to admit, she was adorable. "Words escape how pretty you are," he insisted, mostly just to catch himself. He wasn't the best with words to begin with, and then she went and escaped all natural meaning. Well, that put him in a really good position. "But honestly, yeah. You're... beautiful." He hadn't been quite sure whether he'd wanted to use that, but it felt right. Definitely.
She gasped as she looked at the water, light bouncing off the surface, and Ollie beamed. Now she knew why he'd somersaulted inside like a teenager. He squeezed her hand tightly. "Thanks," he beamed. "Again, you with the compliments. So full of them." He tugged her hair teasingly, leaning over the boat. They were pretty much at a stop now. He wondered vaguely where UGAP had gotten the supplies to build this hologram room- it was pretty state-of-the-art, after all- but he tossed the thought over the side He didn't want to ruin this moment, not for anything. He shifted closer, nudging her shoulder with his affectionately.

Hollie beamed up at him, pressing up on her toes to kiss him again. "Much better," she said, her eyes shining. She'd never felt quite like this before, this warmth she felt inside, her attraction to Ollie, it was heightened by everything that had gone on between them in the last hour. The fact that she had remembered Ollie and her connection to him despite the apparent loss of memories just enforced how strongly she felt about him.
"Apparently I am," she smirked, nudging him in return. Resting her head against his shoulder, she gazed out over the still water, her reflection smiling back up at her. They looked good together, which was comforting for some reason. This nice streak of hers wouldn't last, she knew that, he must have known that. "I seem to remember," she said, lifting up her head and loosening her hand, "that I may have said something about giving you a swirly in the past. And now that I'm standing here, I have a better idea." She grinned fiendishly, tickling his ribs as she forced him towards the side of the boat, with the full intention of pushing him in the water.

Ollie caught her lips tenderly, tugging her a little closer. Blinking and leaning forward a little as they retreated, he beamed at Hollie. "Where're you going?" he asked teasingly, giving her another quick kiss. This was what feeling alive was like, he supposed. In the Complex, they kept you busy, sure, but it was all so cooped up, so stifled. This was open, spontaneous, alive... It was living. And it felt good.
"You must be getting soft," he teased, elbowing her back. He raised a brow, just a little confused. "And what did you have in mi--" he managed to get out, before bursting into laughter. Whoops, they were getting pretty close to the edge. A thought popped into his head, and he grinned wickedly. "How about we go for a swim?" he got through his laughing. He seized her waist, and jumped off the edge of the deck.

"Pfft, soft-" was all Hollie got out before he grabbed her and pulled her over the edge. She let out a cry of surprise as they plunged into the water. He let go as they hit the surface and she sunk down a little, opening her eyes, looking at the light shimmering through the waves. It was just as beautiful under the water as it was above it. After marvelling for a moment, she remembered that she needed oxygen and used her arms to push back up to the surface, emerging, completely soaked.
"A swim, huh?" she snorted, blowing water everywhere as she pushed her hair out of her face. "I think you meant a dunk," she smirked. She was just sore that he'd managed to pull her in before she could push him. Now they were both wet. But, she could get revenge - and it would be made so much easier by the fact that she could see. "Mwah. Ha. Ha. Ha." she laughed slowly and she sunk below the surface, going for his feet, grabbing one ankle and tickling his foot with her fingers.

A chuckle escaped Ollie as he let himself sink under a little, looking around him. The water was so clear, so blue. He looked down. Blue, then black. Yup, definitely the ocean. Anything else would be a lot less deep. Simply floating for a minute, basking in the comfort, he decided his clothes were wet enough and let himself be carried back up to the surface.
Shaking his head furiously to get the water out of his hair, he beamed cheekily across at Hollie "A dunk would imply I shoved you," he reminded her. "I just invited you in for a little swim. Speaking of that, where'd you go?" He looked around, and just caught her shadow before something seized his ankle and went for his foot. He laughed, then managed to recover himself and sunk under, stretching to get under her arms. It was a lot easier underwater, he had to admit.

"I never agreed to the swim," she pointed out, splashing him a little, "you assumed. And you know what they say about people who assume, don't you? You make an 'ass' out of 'u' and 'me'." She poked her tongue out at him, before mountain her foot assault. Tickling was always a good way to get revenge, and besides, they were always tickling and teasing each other anyway, physical play seemed to be a big thing between them. She loved it.
He went for her under arms and she squirmed, letting out a laugh, bubbles flowing out of her mouth and up to the surface. She also swallowed a mouthful of water in the process, so had to swim back to the top, coughing and spluttering as the oxygen filled her lungs, getting rid of the water. "Bleh," she said, uneloquently, looking around to see where Ollie was. He hadn't emerged yet. Uh oh.

Putting a hand up to block the splash, Ollie laughed. "Actually, I didn't know that," he admitted. "That's rather clever. I'm impressed." He sent a mini tidal wave Hollie's way, grinning. If anything, they sure knew how to needle each other. They had the line drawn out, but it was very, very far back. A lot went, because they knew they didn't mean half of it anyways. It was great fun, if anything.
Laughing and watching his breath bubble to the surface, he stopped when Hollie swallowed a mouthful of seawater, and let her float back to the surface. That was when he stopped, and twisted around in the water. Funny. The boat came down at least a few feet in the water, but he couldn't see the shadow anywhere. He squinted. Oh. There it was. Way over there. He pushed himself back up to the surface.
"Truce, truce!" he called out, so he wouldn't be ambushed by another tickle attack. As much as he would like that. "Um, the boat floated off. It's over there." He pointed off in the distance. "I better go grab it. You know, just in case."

"Well, now you do. Don't forget it," she grinned, gently moving her arms back and forth to keep her body floating at the surface. When he called a truce, she coughed a little more, nodding. "Agreed," she nodded, casting a glance over to see that the boat had got away from them. In fact, it was still moving away, at a fair pace. That was strange, it shouldn't have been moving that quickly, should it?
She began to develop a sinking feeling in her gut, her vision beginning to darken. "No," she choked out, "no, no, no!" It wasn't just her insides that were sinking, she was as well, back below the surface, like she had no control over her body. Slowly, Ollie disappeared from view, almost as soon as she was below the surface, her vision went black, and all she could feel and hear was the water throbbing against her body for a moment before everything stopped.
