L146 wasn't sure why, but earlier that day he'd been hit by a sudden craving to play the guitar. First, he'd had to look up what one was, then he'd managed to locate one in the lounge area, just there for anyone to play. Taking it, he headed for the gardens, his favourite place to go in the whole complex, and sat on a bench a way from the waterfall, so that the sound of the rushing water wouldn't drown out the noise.
His fingers worked automatically, his left hand seizing the neck of the guitar, pressing three strings down against the appropriate frets, while his right hand rested the instrument across his lap, strumming the strings above the sound hole. C chord. How did he know all this? Before today, he hadn't known anything about instruments or anything like that, and this morning it was like he'd awoken with all the knowledge of how to play one, including the lyrics to a song which had been haunting him for days.
Strumming the chord again, he switched to a G chord, going back to a C, before pausing. He could do this.
There's no combination of words I could put on the back of a postcard No song that I could sing But I can try for your heart Our dreams, and they are made out of real things Like a, shoebox of photographs With sepiatone loving Love is the answer, At least for most of the questions in my heart Like why are we here? And where do we go? And how come it's so hard? It's not always easy and Sometimes life can be deceiving I'll tell you one thing it's always better when we're together.

A196 should've been bothered by the breakup with B594, but she wasn't. Not even a tear was shed for him. How could it be? There were no...feelings in her heart for him, regardless of the lie that had somehow found itself inside of her. For once, she was seeing things a bit differently. This place was far too bright, too white. She wanted to rebel, wear black, jump in the pond, run around naked, eat too much dessert. Something, anything. This wasn't who she was supposed to be. This was a lie. With a heavy sigh, A196 leaned down and attempted the unthinkable, at least for this. She untied the shoes she was given and tossed them into the pond, scattering a few ducks. She pulled down her hair and tussled the dark curls. "Take that!" she chuckled to herself, feeling the adventure of her newfound freedom. This bad girl, rebellious feeling, almost made her high. Pulling at a tangle as she walked, she stopped at the murmured sound of what sounded like a guitar. She couldn't help but stare at the attractive man, strumming away expertly. Her heart literally leapt out from her chest and she had to actually tell her lungs to keep breathing. He was perfect. Clearing her throat after he finished, A196 twirled her hair a little and broke the silence to get his attention. 'That was beautiful."

L146 had been spending a lot of time with N76; he felt close to her, that was undeniable, but there was something that the relationship between them was lacking. It was almost like they weren't destined to be together, that there was someone else that L146 had yet to meet, the woman who he had just sung about. She had to be here somewhere, maybe someday he would find her.
And all of these moments Just might find their way into my dreams tonight But I know that they'll be gone When the morning light sings And brings new things For tomorrow night you see That they'll be gone too Too many things I have to do But if all of these dreams might find their way Into my day to day scene I'd be under the impression I was somewhere in between With only two Just me and you Not so many things we got to do Or places we got to be.
After repeating a couple of lines over and over, it's always better when we're together, he let his song run into silence; a silence which was broken by a female voice. Bringing his head up from it's bowed position, his eyes met with hers across the grass. His breath stopped.
It was her.
All of his being told him that this was the girl he was missing, the one who meant so much to him, and yet, he hadn't met until this moment.
"Thank you," he said with a smile, rising from the bench as he set his guitar to one side. How was it that someone who had this much power over him and his feelings had been kept from his attention for so long? Walking over to her, he looked down upon her beautiful face, unable to resist the urge to run a finger along the soft skin on her cheek. All the hairs on his arms stood up on end.

Meeting his gaze was the most powerful thing she had ever felt running through her veins. Hr heart had stopped the minute their eyes met. It was him, not B594 that really mattered. She swallowed hard, watching him set his guitar aside. was this real or just another piece of a fictional imagination? There was something in the way he looked at her. A look that said everything she was thinking of, feeling, right then and there. He was her missing piece and she had only just met him.
It only got better. He approached her and she smiled slowly, pursing her lips together softly. It had to be love at first sight, absolutely HAD to be. He touched her cheek with his own skin, and her eyes closed, taking in the feeling of ecstasy. This was him. Screw this perfect world and all it's rules, she knew what she wanted. She reached up and pulled his face towards her own as the space between them closed in. Their breath mingled and danced before she kissed him. Hard and fervent. There was nothing soft about them. They were hungry and desperate. Someone a kept them together for far too long and she wasn't wasting any more time.
She moaned a little pleasurably as her hands trailed the back of his neck. They weren't allowed to kiss like this here. Small pecks on the cheek, occasionally lips, but certainly nothing so wild and rebellious like this. She had given up on the rules here, and far as she was concerened, they didn't even matter anymore. Especially not since she found him. She broke away for breath, and whispered the words she so desperately wanted to say. "It's you."

Luke was caught in the moment - his lips met hers in a passionate kiss, more fervent and lustful than any kiss he has ever shared before, and yet, it felt familiar. Her lips against his, him pulling her into his arms like she was a natural extension of him, the missing part of him that made him whole. Love filled him up inside, warmth spreading from his heart to every part of his body.
His nose grazed hers as she inched away, and he met her eyes with his, opening them fully to take in her full beauty. But there was also a realisation that came with the kiss, the emotions, the way he loved her. He remembered everything
"Ally," he said, running his hands into her hair like he had many times before.
This whole place was a sham, a strange dream they'd all been forced to live for what felt like years, but how long had it been really? Minutes? Hours? Days? Who would have done this to them? And how did they get out?

What started a wild and passionate, slowed to deep and romantic as their mouths worked in desperate unity. She remembered him so, as the love flooded throughout her body. Their noses nuzzled a little as she pulled away and looked deep into his eyes as he spoke. "Luke." she breathed tenderly in return. "My Luke..."
Ally wrapped her arms around his waist, resting a gentle head upon his chest. She remembered her name again, his name, and the fact that they were madly in love. She closed her eyes as his fingers made their path through her hair. He smelled so familiar and comforting; like home. He brought her back to reality. Whatever this lie was, it hurt and cut deep. Who would keep them away like this? To rip such fervent lovers from each others arms?
"How do we get out of here?" she asked, murmuring into his chest.

"I don't know," Luke whispered back honestly, holding her close. This had to have something to do with R4. They were the only ones with the vindictive nature and will to do this, once again trying to punish the crew for doing the right thing. They didn't have the power to actually make some sort of real world like this, so it had to be a dream. "The last thing I remember," he said, "we were all going to the medical bay for the extensive check up, and then, suddenly, we were here."
He pulled back slightly, rubbing her shoulders as he looked into her eyes and considered what had happened. "Someone must have slipped something into the computer system, a program which induces a dream like state across all of the computers which we were hooked up to back in the medical bay. I mean, I've seen Natalie here too, so there must be others effected." Also, it was all so clear to him now why it hadn't felt exactly right being with Natalie, because he only liked her as a friend, he didn't love her like he loved Ally. It was strange how their subconscious had managed to permeate through into the dream world, make them realise that something wasn't right.
"How do you usually wake up from a dream?"
