New York, Earth
10th September 2461
"I can't believe I just slept with the bionic woman for the last time."
"I thought I told you not to call me that." She delivered a swift dig to him arm.
"It's also the last time I get to call you it. To your face anyway."
"Say whatever you like behind my back. It's not like I'm going to be able to hear you."
Propping her up, his hands against her bare skin, he pressed his lips against her spine and said, "bionic woman."
"Oh, ha ha."
"So you can hear me."
"I can when you think you're being clever."
"I'll have to think that more often then."
Lizzy shook her head with an over exaggerated sigh, turning to face Tom. "How did I ever grow to like you in the first place?"
"Sometimes I do wonder. You're crazy, perhaps? Or maybe it was those hallucinagenics I spiked your drink with on our first date?"
"That would explain a lot actually."
"What? The drunken singing? The table dancing? That was all you babe."
"And yet falling for you was the drugs?"
"What can I say? I'm not a natural flirt."
"You're right about that."
"Ouch, right in the heart that one!"
"Aww, I'm sorry."
"And yet, you're not."
"How do you know, hmmm?" She pushed him back against the pillow, her nose reaching down to tickle his chest before she kissed the place where his heart was.
He opened him mouth and closed it again. "On seconds thoughts..."
Lizzy smiled, continuing to weave her way back up his body till she found his lips. "Did I say that I'm going to miss you?"
"Not yet."
"I'm going to miss you."
"I'm going to miss you too," he said, pushing her hair behind her ear, "you just can't get witty banter like this at the office."
"Tom!" she slapped him on the chest with her hand and he let out an 'oof' before chuckling.
"Seriously," he said, "you are the light in my life, Lizzy Calvino. I don't know what I'm going to do without you."
"Mope, I imagine."
"If only you knew how true that was."[/font][/blockquote]
