CHRISTMAS
Christmas is nearly upon us! The UGAP recognises the crew's efforts over the past six months, and that they are in need of a break. So, until January 2nd, the crew are on Shore Leave.
This means that the crew are given the time off to go home and visit their families, maybe get away for a little while, take a vacation somewhere nice - anything to blow off steam.
For those who have no don't have anywhere to go, or would prefer to stay on board during the holidays, there will be a Christmas plot, and it goes as follows...
There will, of course, be Christmas festivities! Sam, assistant chef, will be cooking a delicious roast dinner for Christmas day which will be served at 2pm. All are welcome. The Venia will be stationed at Fari Port, on the planet Glacia, which is covered with snow all 629 days a year! There will be sledding, snow ball fights and ice skating available to those who are interested.
On the 26th of December, however, the crew are in for a surprise.
Small furry creatures, not unlike the Tribbles from Star Trek, make an appearance on board. In no time at all, they’ve overrun the ship, reproducing like rabbits on steroids. The crew have to figure out some way to be rid of them, before they lose the ships to the little critters!
New Year will be brought in with champagne – the real stuff – and a firework display staged every year by the Fari Port council; it is famed for being one of the most spectacular displays in the entire Universe.

Hmmm, let's see.... I think Katy'll probably be out partying back home for most of this, as will Penn (just with less partying, and more sleeping). Ollie will probably be out for Christmas, but he'll come back on New Year's to play with explosives. Julia and Zoe will probably be on-board for most of this.
