Name: Julia Elkins
Nickname: Julie, Jules
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Age/Birthday: 36/ March 16, 2425
Race: Human
Place of Birth/Home Town: New Earth/ New England

Hair: Dark brown, almost a black. Quite long and wavy.
Eyes: Light blue, sort of green.
Height: 5'8''
Individual Features: Small scar on the back of her head.
General Appearance:
Family: Mariam Elkins (mother), John Elkins (father), Danielle Elkins (sister, 33), Kristen (sister, 30)
Friends: The crew of the Venia, hopefully
Enemies: Adrian Nottam (ex-boyfriend)
Job: Psychologist
Personality: Julia is quite a lovely girl, always there for anyone who needs her. At work, she's constantly calm-- never shouting, never saying anything beyond what she needs to say. Beyond that, however, she's a just a sweet gal with a penchant for doodling. She can be shy with people who overwhelm her rather light personality, but as long as they're gentle with her, she's a wonderful person to be around.
Likes: -Helping People: Being an older sister and animal lover, helping anyone who needs it is something that makes her feel warm inside. It's one of the reasons she became a psychologist.
-Cats: Julia is very much a cat person. They have such wonderful personalities, and always calm her down when she's having a bad day. She even got permission to bring her cat onboard.
-Drawing: It's just a little hobby that's persisted since childhood. She's honed her skill a little since then, and helped draw a comic back in high school.
-Hot Chocolate: It's warm, and chocolately. Enough said.
Dislikes: -Yelling: Yelling is something Julia never did, even back as a child. It's loud, and scary, and makes people feel bad. Subsequently, when people yell at her, she tends to retreat back into her shell.
-Arrogance: She's naturally a modest person, and hates it when people are narcissistic. It grates on her nerves and tests her usually-long patience, and putting up with it is something she does not enjoy.
-Snow: Cold is not something Julia likes in general. Pair it with wet, icy snow, and you will get a dripping, fed-up Jules.
Fears: -People who decieve her: Being a psychologist, reading people is something that she does all the time. Once she decides if a person is nice enough, she'll put her whole-hearted trust in them. Having that trust abused is something that frightens her.
-Public Speaking: Being rather shy, getting up in front of people and talking her heart out frightens Julia quite a bit. She's learned to deal with it, like everyone else, but she still gets sweaty palms before going up.
History: Julia was born on March 16 to Mariam and John Elkins. She was the oldest of the children, sister Danielle coming when Jules was three, and Kristen when she was six. They all lived happily in a nice house in the suburbs of London, all the girls making friends with the neighbourhood kids. Her mother was Julia's idol-- she was sweet, funny, pretty, and always knew everything about anything. All growing up, she loved being around people, whether it be family, friends, or people she didn't even know. She had a knack for knowing when her sisters were lying to her, and which people would make the best friends. She went through high school like this, smattering in art and social, until she took her first psychology class. Right then and there, she was hooked, and soon made it her life's work. She graduated college at 24 with a Master's, and was soon hired by the UGAP to perform criminal psych tests for the courts. However, she let her feelings get in the way, and got into a relationship with a man, Adrain, who hadn't gotten over his abuse issues. Julia dumped him, learned from the experience, and threw herself into helping others. Soon, the courts noticed what a positive effect she had on the accused, and reccomended her for the Venia mission. She readily accepted.
Random Facts: Her cat is named Nicaule, because her cat does indeed bear herself like the Queen of Sheba. Jules loves her dearly, and managed to finagle her on-board with her, at the insistence that she calms both patient and psychiatrist down. Either way, Jules won, and Nicaule sleeps in her office.
