~~~~~~ PERSONALITY[/b]
Personality: Zoe is quite a quiet person, for a linguistics specialist. This probably comes from her upbringing in a scientific household, and having to move to a new planet at a young age, but she's also just a polite person. She's always felt a great sense of duty to others, and it comes across in her shy, easygoing demeanor. Once you convince her to let loose a little, though, then she can be quite a happy, cheery person, if a little naive.
Likes: Learning: Her family is quite learned, and it's rubbed off on her. Her IQ would probably be quite high, if she ever bothered to check it.
Cookies: Sam being her friend, she's had access to some of the best cuisine in the cosmos. Still, a cookie is a cookie, and they're delicious.
Ruffles: Lace, ruffles, pretty fabric... she likes it all. As long as it's pretty and soft, it's in her closet.
Classical music: Bach is probably her favorite. Again, learned household, so she wasn't really brought up to listen to pop and such. She thinks it's too loud.
Dislikes: Science fiction: She knows enough physics, and writers trying to make sense of it in books and TV just confuses her.
Loud noise: It makes her feel small and helpless, which she doesn't enjoy.
Pessimists: They bring down her cheeriness, and generally make her day miserable. Plus, they're the type of people who usually make fun of her for being an immigrant.
Fears: Being outcast: This one, she's actually had to face. Not having anyone to laugh with makes her feel horrible and alone. Luckily, she hasn't had to face it for long.
Enclosed spaces: Just something she was born with. If a room seems to small, or if she's in a large crowd, she often has to close her eyes and tune out to deal with it.

History: Born to Hellen and Archibald Robinson, Zoe isn't technically human. She was born on Chouria, a planet outside of the UGAP, it's a colony known for it's genetic engineering. Archie was a scientist working in some of Chourian's inner circles, and often used his family as test subjects. Hellen and Zoe endured this for a time, but after Zoe was given a shot which almost tore her genetic structure apart, they left for Earth.
Adjusting to life on a new planet was hard for Zoe. First off, Chouria had it's own language (most likely derived from Latin), which put up a barrier right from the start. Luckily, she already knew a bit of English, which helped her out. Then, there was the issue of her race. The shot her father had given her left her genetics in a state of flux, which meant it could change at any time. After a few years, she managed to hone it to the point where she could prevent it entirely, but the learning process was quite hard on her and her fellow classmates.
Luckily, she found solace in languages. It began whist learning English, both the language and as a class. She was fascinated by the spoken word, and snapped up languages classes in both high school and her first year of university. It was during this year that she transferred to Ireland to study ancient languages that she met Sam O' Conner. She instantly empathized with him, and found quite a hilarious friend in him. She also attempted to date an Irishman, Dan, but that ended horribly. She and Sammy became quite close friends, and was delighted to find out that they had both been recommended to the Venia.
Random Facts: Her genetic fluxation lets her change her appearance at will, though it takes some time and concentration. She's managed to hone it down to shortening her hair two feet in an hour, if she doesn't get distracted. She prefers to just say she has a good hairdresser, though.
