~~~~~~ PERSONALITY[/b]
Personality:
At first encounter he's somewhat quiet and reserved, some might take this as him being shy, or possibly without intelligence, but it couldn't be farther from the truth. Ezra's mind is always running a million miles a minute and he's observing the world around him, catching minute details that others would overlook. He's very soft-spoken when he does speak, and is usually a very friendly person. He's very kind to others unless they give him a reason not to be.
He's the typical introvert emotionally, he keeps everything bottled up and away from everyone else. Any type of pain or distress is easily covered over with a smile, leaving the world around him oblivious unless they really know him. Due to his training, Ezra is very skilled at being persuasive and even manipulative if he has to be, but he has a fairly decent conscience that keeps him in check.
He's not a person to back down in a fight to say the least, if he feels as if himself or someone he cares for is being wronged, he will fight to his last breath to see justice served.
Likes:
- Any kind of blade weapon as opposed to guns.
- Deep conversation.
- Reading
- Training
Dislikes:
- Unnecessarily violent people
- Space food
- Being in a ship during battle.
- Being beaten.
Fears:
- That he'll end up alone.
- That he'll fail to protect someone he cares for.
~~~~~~ HISTORY[/b]
History:
Ezra was born completely different from most children. Instead of being born on say....a planet, he was born on a space station in orbit around Jupiter. Not only was this space station segregated from the rest of the human population save a few employees and members, it was also a military funded housing for the elite Assassin families that the Alliance used as contract killers for their deadliest enemies. They were sheltered, fed, and trained by the Alliance's best, of course most of the Assassins were former Alliance black-ops soldiers to begin with and needed little training.
No one knew of the Eagle's Talon's existence, aside from its residents. So as it went with every child aboard the Talon, when Ezra began to grow older he began to receive training along with his school studies. Gradually building to more advanced and dangerous training regiments, the children of the Talon were being bred to be the perfect killers. Ezra was no different from any of these children, and when he reached the age of adulthood, he was given his first assignment. The job went flawlessly and Ezra's parents couldn't have been more proud of him, however Ezra told no one of the nightmares that he had for weeks after his first kill, he told no one of how he felt as if he'd killed a portion of himself during that first assignment.
He decided that he was no longer going to kill with projectile weapons, as there seemed to be a sense of detachment to it that was complete at-odds with the tasks he was committing. So he took up studying combat with bladed weapons, taking up the old chivalrous attitude of seeing the whites of a man's eyes as you killed him, it would force him to take full responsibility for each kill, each murder.
From there Ezra was continuously forced into more and more dangerous assignments, quickly blowing through the ranks and making his way towards being one of the top Assassins aboard the Talon. However one day when he was sent out on a private seek-and-destroy mission, something went fatally wrong. A traitor had infiltrated the Talon and had been feeding information to the brother of a recently deceased Crime Lord on New Earth, the man had wanted revenge on the person that had killed his brother, he wanted revenge on Ezra.
So when Ezra arrived under the fake signature of a supply vessel and docked with the space pirate's ship, he was immediately ambushed. A brutal battle ensued, causing Ezra to pull on every bit of his training as he sliced into the midst of his attackers, however it quickly became apparent that he was going to lose if he continued, as more and more of the space pirates seemed to pour in from every direction. Ezra expected to die at any moment, but instead was met with the sweet relief of unconsciousness.
As he awoke he realized he was being strapped into an escape pod, that seemed to be fitted with extra pieces of equipment. As he looked around confused, the brother of the man he'd killed approached him, explaining the full detail of Ezra's new personal hell. Since Ezra had taken away a loved one from the man, the man was going to take all of Ezra's loved ones away from him. He was going to jettison the escape pod while simultaneously activating the cryogenic unit. It would keep Ezra alive until he could be unthawed, but from the trajectory he was going to be jettisoned, the likelihood of him being found within the next hundred years was one in a million.
Ezra was forced to simply watch as the man sealed the escape pod door with a malicious grin, sending him to his icy prison.
Random Facts: His nickname at the Eagle's Talon was "Ghost" because he moved so quickly and silently that he was rarely seen.

RP Sample: (It's not from an rp, but a novel of mine that I'm in the process of writing, I hope that's okay lol.)
The Holy Mother brought both palms together, tucking in her ring and pinky fingers before placing a ceremonious kiss against her index fingers. She would need the blessing of the Light if she had any hope of completing this incredibly foolish, yet incredibly important task. No one had ever successfully returned a being from the Land of the Dead, let alone a person that wasn’t supposed to have existed in the first place.
She knew if one syllable was off in her pronunciation, even the slightest line out of place in the complex spell drawn onto the floor infront of her, would mean certain annihilation of the entire temple and everyone within it.
Asriel Aurelis….will you even know this world? It is so different now… much darker…. Please do not hate me for this… she prayed internally, knowing that she was about to pull Zariah’s greatest legend out of his well-deserved eternal bliss, and throw him back into this world of chaos without his consent. She felt dirty….evil, it would be like saving a drowning victim, only to plunge their head under the surface of the water once again. With gritted teeth and narrowed eyes she stepped forward to the pedestal infront of her, the ancient spellbook laid out before her, its yellowed and cracked pages looking as if they might fall apart at the slightest touch.
“Forgive me, Asriel….it has to be done… we can’t do this without you…” she whispered quietly, her eyelids sliding closed as she reached inwards towards the light burning inside of her, the source of her power, and pulled the wall aside, letting the full strength of her power flow into her veins. At first the amount of power, amplified by the room itself and the spellcraft etched into the floor around her, threatened to overtake her consciousness before she quickly pulled it under control.
She was young for a Holy Mother, very young by normal standards and naturally when she had been chosen to be the successor to the previous Holy Mother, it had shocked everyone within the Temple. A Holy Mother was chosen by her unrivaled magical abilities, battle strategies, intelligence, or some other aspect of her nature that made her stand out above the rest. However in her case, she had been incredibly average in every area that she had tested in, and she had been just as stunned as the rest when her name had been announced.
Rules: Understood. Over and out.
