Welcome to Seoul's Institute of Music and Dance. The name pretty much sums up this university. It is a place for aspiring artists to train and become great muscians and dancers. To be accepted is an honor. Those who walk these halls go on to work for large companies just was Star Museum Entertainment (SM) and Park Jin-young Entertainment (JYP). Doors are open for these young people that isn't always open for someone off the street.
This brings us to our plot.
SIMW follows a group of students as they work their way up the entertaiment ladder in hope of auditioning and joining one of the largest recording companies in all of Korea. It will follow their triumphs and disappointments, their battle to suceed when others around ultimately fail. No one ever said the music business was easy. Success is not guaranteed.
For these young muscians the goal is to become a Korean Pop Idol. Will they all make it to the top?
