All of the crew of Venia are invited to a Governmental Dinner on Proxy 5; there is a cruise liner (The Oceanic) in orbit and the dinner will be held in the ballroom on board.
While they are milling with the dignitaries and other invited guests, the engines are being sabotaged by terrorits; they take out the power and lock the crew out of the back up power as well - no one can escape.
Slowly, the liner begins to drift towards the planet below, eventually it will hit the surface and destroy the ship, killing all those inside.
The Venia crew must find a way to fix it, discover the terrorists and save everyone's lives.
