Personality:
Ethan has, on the surface, a very amicable personality that allows for others to trust him easily. He has a very subtle touch about him that, if used in the wrong way, can influence others to follow his example, whether good or bad. The man is driven by Alliance idealism, which entails ensuring the safety of the galaxy, putting forth an effort to stomp out threats, and make sure people are getting along. Sometimes, Ethan is blinded by that idealism, making him susceptible to not taking in all the facts.

History:
Ethan was born into an Alliance oriented family, seeing as his father was an Alliance soldier stationed on the up and coming planet Prime 3 with his mother, who stayed at home. It was at the home where Ethan picked up on his strong sense of fighting for an idea, seeing as both father and mother instilled in young Ethan a desire to find something to fight for. His father always told him that a man was useless without something to drive him.
When Ethan was sixteen, his father was killed in a firefight with a local gang that had plagued the area. Angry and young, Ethan began a trek towards the gang territory and sought to "avenge" his father's death. Before he was able to get inside however, a man named Lyle Echani, a friend of his father and in charge of the area right outside gang territory, stopped Ethan and told him that his father would be more proud of him if he gave his effort towards bettering the Alliance. Two years later, he joined the Alliance as a grunt.
His superiors were impressed with his drive and motivation, bumping him up through the ranks. At age twenty five, Ethan was put through a trial training program that encouraged stealth, tactics, and a golden tongue over violence, which was a glad change of pace for Ethan, seeing as the soldier wanted to avoid any kind of violence. Why enact violence against others when he was fighting AGAINST violence?
Ethan was sent to various undercover operations around the galaxy, meeting and exceeding expectations on almost every assignment(He blew his first one). At age thirty five, Ethan was stationed at Alliance HQ as supervisor of the program for five years. His presence was requested on the Venia as an observer due to his skill set and his ability to extract information from his environment. Ethan was to report to the Alliance every three days on what he saw and make recommendations based on observation. With the Helios in production, the Alliance wanted to make sure that their first pet project was still thriving, even after their triumph.
