Personality:

Luke is usually described as a fun and easy going guy. He enjoys life, and doesn't question it, like many people do, he just tries to live life to the full. He's quite the gentleman, and can be very charming, flirtacious even. He also likes to have a laugh, and unless the situation is really serious, he will always make witty comments and jokes in order to lighten the mood. He enjoys being happy, and likes it if people can feel the same way.

Luke's big weakness is his family, he would do anything for them, especially his sisters. Because he is the oldest of three, he does have a sensible head on his shoulders. His Dad sort of looked to him to be the forthright one, and one to sort of take care of the girls, even if he didn't say it out loud. Because of this, he can be fatherly, and maybe a bit patronising in a way, but mostly jokingly. He does have a propensity for getting himself into trouble, but he can nearly always get out of it.

History:

The Luke people see today is completely different from how he was in the past.

Luke was brought up in Brisbane by his retired navy officer father and mother, who was a University lecturer. He’d always been interested in things that could fly ever since he was little. He used to draw aircraft in his colouring books and build planes out of various things in the house. When he started school, he showed aptitude for science and maths and quickly became top of the class, maintaining that right through till he’d graduated from University. He used to enter science fairs at school and won several years in a row with his interesting and intricate designs. He was a bit of a social outcast, but had his close group of geeky friends who used to play video games with him and they’d do their homework together.

His family moved to America when he was 15, and he quickly gained the same stereotypical nicknames at the schools there, ‘geek’, and ‘nerd’, whatever. Everything changed one day when he was 17. He was tired of being bullied, frustrated by it, and snapped at one of the biggest bullies in school. No one knew that his Dad had him do boxing outside of school, and Luke took the bully down in two moves. Of course, he got in trouble for it, but from then on strived to change the way he was perceived, especially at University, which was a fresh start for him.

Once he graduated, Luke enlisted with the EDN as a pilot and navigator, and quickly became one of the best pilots that they had. He served on the Endeavour until he was approached by the UGAP to be the pilot of the Venia.

- Still has to wear his glasses for reading.
- Graduated top of his class from Princeton, he studied Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering
