History: Chanarong was born in Bankok to a father who was a former soldier that served in the Latin American war and a mother who was a belly dancer for the King of Thailand. Chanarong had a very posh upbringing, but that didn’t stop his father from teaching Chanarong the value of hard work and dedication to one’s work. His father, having been inspired by the Latin American soldiers he had served with, taught Chanarong the fighting style of Capoeria, a martial art style that involved dance like moves and precision based strikes. Chanarong naturally loved the style, seeing as he had been a very musical boy since two years old, and quickly picked up on the style, surpassing his father at age twelve by listening to various hip hop artists and practicing to the beats. In this way, Chanarong was preparing himself for a crisis that was going to strike Thailand a few years later. At age sixteen, a Chinese militant who wanted to overthrow the Thai government invaded the palace and attempted to take over. The coup failed, but his mother was a casualty. Chanarong and his father continued to live together, but the relationship was strained, seeing as Chanarong wanted to see and explore the world, his father violently opposing his son’s curiosity, instead urging him to stay in Thailand and defend the mother country. At age 19, Chanarong and his father had a chance to defend the home country as soldiers: they were drafted to fight in the Thai army against rebel terrorists. The two became a great team, fighting over ten battles together before his father died in a violent firefight. Discharged a year later, Chanarong set out to roam the new world that he so wanted to explore. In his trekking, he came upon a small village in mainland China which at the time was being attacked by an opposing village. He aided in defending the village, which caused an Alliance sergeant who was stationed in the village to take note of how efficient and smooth Chanarong’s fighting style was. The Alliance sergeant was able to, after several days of prying, convinced Chanarong to join the Alliance. The only reason Chanarong joined was because he knew that he would be able to learn more about the world around him, as well as take back valuable knowledge to his home country. Seven years of training and combat missions made Chanarong’s superiors take note of his ability, eventually recommending Chanarong for the Venia mission. Althoug reluctant, he knew that he would find something positive in the experience and agreed to go.
Random Facts: Nicknamed Chang Chang because of the sound his feet make when they make contact on an enemy.
Loves soap operas
RP Sample: Joebe was now walking back to the castle, crossing through the more luxurious part of town when he saw what looked like..a person? Was that a person lying on the road?!? The large man ran to the body, now realizing that it was a man, middle aged. He was still breathing, but there was a large hole in both shoulders. His eyes looked glazed over, breaths coming in ragged gasps. Joebe knelt down beside the man and began to go through his bag for gauze and salve when the man cried out raspily:
"They...they wanted me..dea..."
"Who? Who wanted you dead?"
"Thos..rang...ers.." Rangers?!?!? Killing innocents?!?! (or at least, Joebe assumed the man was innocent)
"Do you know where they went?" Silence. The man's chest stopped rising, and Joebe knew it was over. Rangers...rangers..were they now worming their way back into society as the thugs or the heroes?
He had walked back to the castle, having buried the man already, and was now in one of the private quarters on the second floor reclining on the couch. He hadn't seen the king yet, but hopefully he would be able to see him. Joebe's thoughts turned towards Jac. Where was she? Did she find anything?
