This was it, the moment everyone was waiting for. It has been a few hours since the first meeting with the crew and everyone has gotten their preflight exam from Jess. Michael was going through some last minuet paperwork before taking off. Everything was now in place. Michael walked out of the small room that the crew first met in hours ago. Michael could see the night sky from the window where the flight controls were. Michael straighten his uniform out he would be glad to get out of it soon enough. Taking one last look around the flight deck he stood in the middle of the room as everyone was buzzing around.
Activating the communication system Michael could now talk to the entire crew onboard the Venia, local time was around seven thirty pm.“Attention all crew, this is the Captain speaking. All personnel to their stations and prepare for lift off. I repeat the Venia is about to make its maiden voyage all hands to their stations.” Michael explained as he folded his arms. This was the moment the crew was preparing for. “How are we looking?” Michael asked someone on the flight deck. Michael took a seat in the command chair as he waited for more bridge crew to arrive before soaring off. Michael smiled he loved this part. |
