Mei made a noise of consent when Anna commented to the effect that the terrorists deserved Katy's wrath. It was true enough. She then listened as Anna gave the run-down of what had happened to her. So Natalie and Luke had gone up to the flight deck? Hopefully the two of them were all right. After a brief discussion, they all agreed that heading up to flight deck was the best course of action.
"We'll need to be ready," Mei murmured as she followed Annabelle down a side-hall. "If the terrorists really are up there, we don't want them to harm Luke or Natalie." As she said that, a thought occurred to her. "Do you have any idea where the other might have headed?" she asked both of them.
For all they knew, the terrorists could have set up multiple bases. If that were true, how much of the crew had been taken hostage already? The thought unnerved her, and she prayed that no one would be too severely injured--especially not anyone who worked in sickbay. They'd be needed if anyone else was injured.

It would be a miracle if Luke and Natalie hadn't been harmed at all already. These terrorists had wasted no time in trying to gun down Katy, Mei, and Chanarong, so the likelihood was that anyone that got in their way got the same treatment or worse. That, or they were kept conscious and beaten for information.
Anna had to think about her question. "Well, I imagine some of the others went to get medical supplies?" she said; it sounded more like another question than an answer. "So they're probably in the medical bay unless they managed to escape... we really need to tap into the ship's security feed." That would be a good way to find out where everyone was and if they were okay. They could do that from the flight deck.

Katy nodded, in agreement with Anna's inference. If anything was needed on the Oceanic, it was medical supplies, and the med crew would have wasted no time in getting it. A few steps ahead, Katy peeked in the window of the flight deck, curious. No one was there. She pushed open the door, gun in hand. The place was deserted, with cut ropes and knocked-out terrorists on the floor. She coughed, motioning to Mei and Anna. "Well, Luke and Nate certainly didn't need our help," she commented amusedly. She picked her way through the terrorists, and wrinkled her nose. "They sure do smell bad." She came to the controls, but didn't bother to sit down and try to work anything out. Given her past experience with computers, she'd probably set the self-destruct or something.

Mei nodded at Anna's speculation. Getting medical supplies would definitely have been her second objective after arming herself. "We can check the med-bay security cameras when we get up to the flight deck," she said, peering around the corner.
Katy sprinted past her, peering in the porthole in the door. At her comment about Natalie and Luke not having needed help Mei came up behind her to look inside herself. Katherine was right. The terrorists that had been in the room were out cold, and she spotted the hem of Natalie's dress on the floor next to one of them.
"That's two safe, at least," she murmured gratefully. When Kat ran over to the consoles and stared down at them contemplatively, Mei gave a start of alarm and dashed over. "I'm a science officer," she said, gently shunting Katherine aside before she could touch the screen, "I work with the Venia's computers a fair amount. Let me."
Quickly she typed in the entrance code, only to find that the console wasn't locked. Shaking her head, she quickly hooked up to the security cameras. Finding the med-bay, she opened it on the main screen so they could all see.

Annabelle brought up the rear, making sure no one followed them from behind. She was relieved that Natalie and Luke had managed to get out of there, taking out two terrorists in their wake. That was definitely all to the good. Made their job one heck of a lot easier. It seemed like the whole crew was combat ready, again, not a bad thing. At least they showed that they could handle a situation like this, not that they ever wanted to go through it again. This was Anna's job on a daily basis, (and Katy's and Ben's), not the rest of the crew.
"Yeah, let someone who knows what they're doing handle the computers," she said, "you don't want to feel Luke's wrath later when he comes back to find his console screwed up." She could use them, sure, but the pilot's console was a whole different thing altogether.
Coming up behind Mei, she looked at the screen and saw that there were several dead terrorists lying around. The Captain, Jessica, Ben, and Alliana were down there, none of them looked like they were in that great shape. "Well, they're alive," she said, pulling a face, "maybe we should get down there?"

Katy couldn't suppress a smile at the others' alarm when she went near the console. They obviously didn't want a repeat of the food machine again-- the bio-whatever-it-was. As Mei called up the video link, she winced. Blood on the floor, and not all of it looked like the terrorists'. "Hmm... Just maybe," she mused in Anna's direction, trying not to be too sarcastic. Now didn't really seem like the time to crack a joke, as most of the crew lay wounded on the floor. Speaking of that... Something seemed off. She did a quick head count on the cam and in the deck, and included Nate and Luke. "Nine people... Doesn't the Venia have more crew than that?" she asked. Where's everyone else? Are they still holding them, or just not on the ship at all?" That would certainly rain on their parade-- not that it was much of a parade to begin with-- no balloons. They definitely needed to get some balloons as soon as this was over.

Mei scanned the screen, her eyes narrowing. "Getting down there definitely sounds like a good idea," she agreed as she patched a link to the cams in the halls. "The way there appears to be clear," she added. Katherine then raised a good question--where was the rest of the crew?
"Well... there could be others running around wild like we are," she said slowly. "Natalie and Luke are, right? And not everyone came back to the Venia. It's all together possible that there are still people on the Oceanic, isn't it?" She sighed and shook her head, uncertain. "They're in med-bay, and Jessica's with them. Should we try and find others?"
It didn't sound like the best idea to her, especially since she had no idea where they could look, and that meant that for all they knew everyone was on the Oceanic, but if the others thought it would be the better route to take she wouldn't complain.
Since Anna was, in a way, her superior, as she was a chief officer, Mei would let her decide what they should do next. "What do you think, Anna? Go down to med-bay, or search for the rest of the crew?"

Anna scratched the back of her head. If this were any other situation, she would have made a snap decision and they would have been on their way by now. Fortunately, she had a moment to think this time.
If they went down to the Medical Bay, then they might be able to help out down there. Jessica looked like she had her hands full, and she wanted to check that Alliana and Ben were okay. Ben was under her command and care after all, and she'd considered Alliana her friend ever since their latest visit to Delta Prime.
However, did they really want to run the risk of there being more of the crew out there who needed help, or tracking down any terrorists that were still on the ship, possibly hiding now that they were on the losing team, like they had been previously.
"Do a heat signature scan," she said to Mei, "see if that picks up any bodies other than ours and the group in the Medical Bay. If there's no one else, we go to the medical bay."

Katy nodded at Anna's thinking. It was probably the best thing to do, considering the situation-- not that they were the underdogs anymore. See? she thought to her cynical conscience. Things did turn out all right. Not until you find the rest of the crew, it reminded her. She sighed. Consciences were annoying-- maybe you could remove them. Nah, it was usually right-- like now. They weren't out of the clear until they knew where everyone was, be it friend or foe. "Well, I did see Penn and Kiri in the bar, on the Oceanic, earlier..." she mused out loud to the rest of the crew. If they could compile their knowledge, and build a rough timeline, they could probably estimate where everyone else was. "It's all the way across the liner, I doubt they would've had time to get here before the attack. You guys see anyone?"
