Alliana gave a short laugh. "It's all we can eva ask for. I know I'm just grateful ta have one."She blew out her air slowly, a few loose strands of hair falling to the side of her face. Without word, she pushed herself up and walked over to the fridge, bringing another, fuller bottle and handed it to Anna. "Well, I don't think it's safe ta go anywhere right now. We should wait till it dies down...that an ya need your strength. You're bad enough hurt, I don't wanna have ta drag ya around unconscious." she smirked back.
It wasn't that bad here with Anna. It was sort of nice to get to know her crew mates. The only other person she had met was Luke, and she had to smile at the thought of him. She definitely had a small crush on the guy, but it was small and he wasn't going to save her right now. "I can see what we've got in heah, maybe something would come in handy. You have any ideas?"

Anna snorted with laughter, "I'm stubborn, so stubborn, my unconscious body probably wouldn't let you drag it around," there was more gun fire, and she cringed. "Ugh, I want to be out there," she wined, taking the bottle of vodka. She raised a brow, "this person who works in here must be an alcoholic, if this is all they have in the fridge." Wouldn't stop her from using it to numb the pain though. She was going to end up back on the ship, hic-coughing or something.
Anna looked at Alliana as she talked. "Food might be good, so we both don't end up paraletic on the floor if we have to stay in here a while with only vodka to drink," she said, "although being knocked out might not be too bad for now." She winced, "or maybe something that can help us get out of here? Gun, something else to spring the door open when the time comes."

Audrin laughed with her. "Good, so I don't have ta worry about you conking out on me then." She released a heavy sigh from her lungs, staring up at the ceiling. "I'll see what I can find." she breathed and sat there for a moment, not exactly in the mood to get up and move again just yet. She gave a nod to Anna's comments about getting up and searching for something. Her head was beginning to throb a bit and she was now wondering if she had smacked it upon shoving Anna away from more harm.
She rubbed it a little, wincing as she found an emerging knot on the right side of her forehead. Alliana heaved a small sigh at its pain and stared back at her. "Do you eveah think you'd be missed..." It was another awkward question, but she felt the need to ask. "When you die...do you think you'll be missed, by someone.."

When Anna realised they probably really weren't going anywhere soon, she placed her back against the wall, and sank into a sitting position, figuring she could at least give her legs and feet a rest, even if it did hurt scrunching her side up like that. It'll have to do, the blood rushing to her legs made her feel like she was going to pass out, and she didn't want that. And by their conversation, Alliana didn't want her to either.
Anna raised her eyebrows at Alliana's question. "We're not going to die here," she said, then realised that Alliana knew that, "sorry." That was a bit of a flip out comment. "Uh," she had to think about the question. "Don't think my family would, I don't think they've even noticed that I'm not on Earth any more. Maybe some of my friends might, I don't know." She'd met some of the crew and started to make friends with them. "Will might notice that there isn't someone around to bug him any more. The ship's chief engineer."
"Why do you ask?"

"I...I don't know..I was just wondering." she gave a faint, half hearted smile. Anna was well liked, she could tell that much. She had observed Will and Anna together, in passing just once and could tell there was a spark between the two. She would be well missed. "And don't worry, I have no plans to steal the breath from your lungs anytime soon." she laughed, trying to change up the subject again.
"Anyway..right then..." She sighed, pushing herself up from the floor. "I'm gonna go have a look around." Alliana gave another faint smirk and left Anna to her own thoughts.

Anna chuckled slightly, then coughed, screwing up her face. More vodka. "If I'm drunk by the time we get out of here, tell whoever comes for us that I'm delirious with pain. And hide the evidence." She took a long swig, glad there was at least something that she could numb the pain with. That, and talking was helping to distract her. "Let me know what you find."
Anna closed her eyes, and tilted her head back, reluctantly thinking about what would happen if she died. All military personnel who went out on dangerous missions had a will, and a letter to give to loved ones if they did pass, so that was sorted. She didn't really know where she stood with Will, she felt that most of the time she annoyed him, but he put up with her with one reason or another. She didn't stop bugging him though, it was fun. She couldn't stop even if she wanted to.
"Find anything?"

Alliana searched and shuffled for something of worth. There were a few files, lab notes random scripts of paper. What she wasn't expecting, was a slip of paper; a wanted sign with her face on it. In a frustrated huff, she crumpled it up and threw it in the closest trash bin. Apparently she had made one mistake too many and now she was reaping what she sowed. "No...uh, no not yet." she called over her shoulder, in a slightly stressed tone.
She inhaled a deep breath and looked around for something useful. [/b]"There's a pair of scissors...some paperclips...." She knew from experince that that would be enough to bust them out. She also found a plastic security card which would come in handy with as well. Alliana's stomach growled a little, and she had to hold a hand to keep down the hunger. "I know you can't move much mate, but would ya mind checkin ta see If theahs anotha fridge or somethin on your side of the room?"

(Holy shizzlebob, I totally didn't realise that it was MY turn to post! OMG. Am I blind or something? I've been checking this thread nearly every day o.0)
Anna watched as Alliana scrunched up the piece of paper and tossed it into the bin. What was that about? "A bill for you or something?" Anna asked, shuffling a little. The blood she was losing, she was beginning to feel numb in place, mainly her legs. This wasn't looking all too great to be honest. Not for her anyway.
Anna nodded her head, that stuff would be enough to get them out when the time came. Sometimes the most mundane things could be used for all sorts of important stuff. Anna snorted, then supported herself on her arms, craning her head round to see if there was anything. Pursing her lips, she eventually caught sight of a bag that had been left in the corner. "Let's hope this isn't a bomb," she muttered, crawling over to it, pulling it closer as soon as she could reach. "You're in luck," Anna said, tossing Alliana a bag of potato chips.

(Oh no worries mate. It's been busy. XD )
Alliana gave a nervous chuckle. "oh, nah, Nothing..." She let her voice trail off a bit, trying to break the obvious unease that hung in her breath. Anna wasn't looking well. She needed more serious medical help than she could offer. There was a sink in the far corner, and maybe she could flush the would a bit, Anna willing. She gave a short huff, and turned, right in time to catch the flying bag.
From the corner of her eye, there was a splint of red and silver in a circular form. She leaned back a bit and gave a slight smirk, "You had bettah like room temperature coke mate, because that's all we're gonna get for a bit." Alliana chuckled and slid down against the metal cabinet once more, handing Anna the semi cold beverage/ Thank goodness it had been kept where it had, or they would be suffering through hot sodas.

Anna didn't pursue the topic any further, she didn't have the energy to, and that energy was slipping away fast. Soon, she was pretty sure she wouldn't make it out of there on her own two feet. She saw the coke and smirked, "this room sure is bountiful," she said, taking a sip of the drink, the sugary goodness fizzing in her mouth.
Placing the coke bottle down on the floor beneath them, she looked across at Alliana. This felt like, if it were any other situation, a bonding exercise between crew mates. It was surprising that the Captain hadn't organised any of those, but, at the same time, she was grateful that he hadn't. Those things were usually stilted and awkward. "What's your favourite food?" she asked out of nowhere. Hey, they had to be kept entertained somehow.

Alliana nodded and twisted the cap off her own bottle. She wasn't expecting the day to be like this, nor count on being incredibly nice either. Things never worked her way so she was now stuck instead with a bleeding crewmate. From their small talk conversation, Anna was incredibly sweet, had that soft, good girl aire. It was almost intimidating. She wasn't sure who she could trust with her shattered past and secrets.
Anna's next question was rather odd and it took a minute for her to try to think of a reply. "uhh...not sure. I'll eat just about anything as long as it's not vegetarian." she chuckled, taking another swig. "How about you?" She offered her question in the same manner as she extended her legs again. She wanted to try and make friends and it seemed like Anna was almost willing to help in that quest.

Anna had realised a little while ago that she really didn't know all that much about Alliana. She seemed to keep to herself most of the time. Unless the pilot, Luke, was around of course. They seemed to have hit it off, and that was good. Everyone needed friends on board. Otherwise how were they supposed to get along?
She chuckled slightly at her answer, "yeah, about the same. Except... pizza, I love pizza," she said, thinking about food was making her hungry. "Veggie pizza really isn't all that bad. If they load it with enough vegetables to sink a ship." They had to make up for the lack of meat somehow. "Ummmmm," she tried to think of another question, "favourite animal? ...wow, I'm really bad at this today."

"Veggie pizza will never be okay in my book." she smirked with a slight chuckle. She set the back of her head against the metal cabinet with a thud and gave a restless sigh. The room was beginning to heat up without the aid of the AC and the room temperature coke was doing nothing to help the situation.
Rather than answering her question, Alliana took a different route, asking one of her own. "Why did you decide to join? Ya know..the Venia..." She edged for curiosity, why Anna had chosen this lifestyle of leaving her family and friends to live on a space ship with a bunch of strangers.

Anna opened her mouth then closed it again. She supposed there were various reasons why she'd chosen to come on the mission, ranging from one extreme to the other. "Um," she said, "two reasons really. It seemed like too good an opportunity to pass up. And, you know, they sort of emphasised how important it would be for me to go. They probably would have bribed my officers to ship me off if they'd needed to." She paused, "and, any excuse I have not to see my family, I'm going to take it."
She could feel her head slowly drooping forward, her chin getting closer to her chest with every passing minute. She needed to stay awake. Taking another swig of the coke, she looked across at Alliana, "how about you? What made you join up?"

"Like I said, second chances." she replied shortly. It was hardly an answer, but it wasn't exactly a lie. That was unusual for her. She was trying to fix up her broken life, put herself as the good guy for once, unfortunately, that meant building up believable walls of lies.
Alliana watched Anna try to stay focused and awake, but she knew it was hard. She heaved a small sigh and glanced around the room for something to rest her head on. She pushed herself up, finding a jacket someone had left over the weekend. With a faint smile, she wadded it up and handed it to her new....what was the word? Friend? "Here, you can rest ya head. I won't be offended if you doze off. You've lost a substantial amount of blood theah. Try ta stay awake as long as you can though, but If you have to, go ahead and rest." Alliana was no medical officer, but she knew enough of biology to help others. She wanted to help Anna, wouldn't let her die. Not here, not now, not for many, many years. There was a warm feeling from the pit of her stomach, and she soon recognized it as caring. Anna, was her friend now.
