Apparently saving someone's life and their gratitude for that act didn't end once the thank-you's were over, calling them for favours was also acceptable. And, considering Luke had saved the life of a particularly wealthy embassador, the favour was pretty sweet.
The embassador owned two small islands on New Earth, a large one which he used for functions, and a smaller one which he used to take his wife away for romantic weekends when they could escape the chaos of work and their children. Luke had quite cheekily asked if he could use his favour and borrow the island for a week, and much to his surprise, the embassador had said yes. He had broken the news to Alliana, and the next thing they knew, they were on their week to spend a whole week alone together. It was going to be interesting to say the least.
Luke stepped out of the shuttle onto the white sand, and instantly shoved his sunglasses on, the sun was so bright. The island was more amazing than he could have imagined. The sea was a turquoise colour, the sun's rays sparkling off it, the trees so green - even if they weren't real. The house was a couple of minutes walk, but he could see the small wooden pagoda that sat out on the water, they'd have to go out there later and see if there was any fish.
He looked round over his shoulder back into the shuttle, giving Alliana a grin. "You have to see this," he said, his Aussie accent back in full swing.

Somehow she had managed to sway Luke away from the UGAP resort last minute. It just wasn't safe, and she wasn't quote ready to spend her life in a government run prison. A week off on a secluded island with Luke however, that much she could manage. she hopped off the shuttle, instantly feeling the hot white sand in her shoes. She instantly smiled. But it was still hot. Ally slid on her aviators and ran her hands through her thick hair, tussling it a bit, before observing her surroundings. Damn this place was gorgeous. And she was here ALONE with Luke? She would think those thoughts later, but now? Now...good lord it was beautiful, even if the trees were fake. "Oh..my god Luke! this place is...wow." She breathed the last word, still unable to really force out sentences right now. The water looked like blue glass, the sand like powdered sugar almost. She had never seen the sky so blue, so serene, so..so..perfect. No doubt the stars would be covering the sky tonight. She walked over next to him, still taking it all in. She broke a smile, looking up at him. Would it be okay to kiss him again, because she sure as hell wanted to. Right here, right now. She took her chance turning around to face him, and pushing up on her toes to his level she pressed her lips against his. Outfit

Luke chuckled as she gushed about the island, although, his thoughts were running along the same line as hers, they had this whole island to themselves for a week. They were completely alone, no one to disturb them. He had joked about it in his messages, but he definitely liked that idea, that there wouldn't be any interuptions. It wouldn't be like it was on the ship, where anyone could catch them.
Their relationship had been pretty sedate up until this point, over a month of taking things slow. He wasn't complaining, not at all, he preferred it this way. He felt like he was getting to know Alliana, falling for her a little more each day, rather than running in head first and getting burned.
Luke returned the kiss, placing an arm around her waist, tugging her gently closer. He grinned against her lips, giving her another small kiss before pulling away a little. "Another week of that," he said, giving her a smile. This was going to be awesome. "Come on," he said, grabbing their bags, slinging them over his shoulder before taking one of her hands in his, "let's go see the house."

They hadn't rushed thier relationship, hadn't done much really. She was sure someone had seen them kiss once. A small goodnight kiss, but a kiss none the less. Other than that she had spent all her free time with him. Well, almost all of it. It was sort of divided. Girl time with Anna, guy time with Luke. The point was that was all to themselves, in fact all of the staff was robotic. It was truly just them. Alone. Together.
She was glad he welcomed the kiss, even pulling her in closer for more. It would be hard to keep her hands off of him this week. "Another wnderful week of that." she repeated, fondling the buttons of his shirt. With another sly, stupid smile, she turned to let him lead to their small escape. She waved off the shuttle driver who rolled his eyes at the young lovers and pulled the door to a close. Ally nestled her hand in his. Wow, it was the first time they had really held hands. It felt good, really good.

Holding hands with Ally felt natural, like he'd been doing it for years now, even though they hadn't really before this moment. It was sort of weird when Ally spent time with Anna. He felt like he and Ally were becoming attached at the hip, and when she wasn't there, it was like a part of him was missing. That was probably quite profound for this point in their relationship, but he didn't really care.
It didn't take them long to reach the house. As they rounded a dense clump of trees, it came into view; it was a relatively new build, maybe only three or four years old, a modern house made largely out of glass, metal and white concrete. There were driftwood steps leading up to the front doorway - the door was unlocked, and Luke pushed the door open, gesturing for Alliana to go first. It was an amazing place, big enough for ten, let alone two. "Whoa," he said.

Ally caught his smile like ravaging disease and grinned foolishly. It had been far too long since she'd felt this sort of happiness. She loved it, loved this. the made their way to the house. A short trail from the beach led them to the most gorgeous modern home she had ever seen. Her jaw fell slightly and words forgot how to form once more.
"Who did you say this belonged to again?" she chuckled, reaching to take her bag from him. The kitchen was off to the right, that led out to a patio and what looked like a small pool, or was that a hot tub? To the left was a spiraling staircase, probably leading up to the bedrooms and a lush living room. "I should probably go find a bedroom to slump my bag in." she half smirked. He might protest if she declined sharing a bedroom, but they weren't exactly there yet..or..no..forget it. They weren't there yet. Of course it would be much worse if there was only 1 bedroom. This place did belong to a married couple after all.

Luke watched as her mouth open and chuckled lightly, using a finger to gently stroke the soft skin under her chin. "Oron Sharlto, an Embassador from Delta Prime," he said, "there was a group of us rock climbing, he was one of the group. He slipped and I caught him, saving him from a very sticky end. He asked what I wanted in return, and now, here we are." He grinned. Ah, being a good guy did help sometimes, especially in times like these.
"I think he said there were a couple of bedrooms upstairs," Luke said, Oron used one as his study, should he need to do any work while he was here, "you get first pick." He'd take whichever one she left, he didn't really mind, he'd sleep on anything. He didn't think they were at the point yet where they would share a room, even if they had spent a fair few evenings in his pilot's chair together. That all might change soon though. "Let me know when you've chosen," he told her, putting his bag down before wandering into the kitchen.

"Okay Mr. Hero." she chuckled, heaving up her bag again. In that moment her respect for him leapt ten levels. Her guy had saved someones life. That wasn't attractive at all. Yeah right.
Ally turned to give him a slight grin as she headed up the stairs. "I'll be right back. " The good news was he seemed to understand where she was coming from. As much as they both wanted to ravage each other wildly, they both had some sort of moral reason and weren't ready to jump into anything foolishly stupid. There would be plenty of time for reckless youthful things later.

Luke snorted with laughter at the 'Mr. Hero' line, before he went poking round in the kitchen cupboards and the fridge. Everything was fully stocked with a week's worth of food and drink, and there was a note explaining about the pantry downstairs, which would be well stocked as well. Apparently it contained a wine cellar. Nice.
He pulled the bottle of fizzy white wine out of the fridge which had a sticky note stuck to it that read 'enjoy', then pulled two glass champagne flutes out of the cupboard before walking out onto the patio, placing on the glass table outside. The patio contained a hot tub, but looked down onto a pool surrounded by trees. Just in case they didn't feel like making the two minute walk down to the ocean. This guy has more money than sense, Luke thought, chuckling and shaking his head.

The first bedroom-the master bedroom-left her speechless. It was the biggest she had ever seen, and better yet, a real, believe it or not, bed. Not bunk. She swallowed, desperately falling in love with the sight of it. She gave a short sigh and turned to find the other room. A few steps down the hall, and the guest bedroom was just as sprawling. However, the master bedroom was closer to the bathroom.
After settling in, and..inconspicuously changing into her swim suit, she sauntered downstairs. "What did you find in the kitchen Luke?"Without an answer, she found him outside on the patio, 2 glasses of wine on the table. "Well, you're not wasting time are you.' she chuckled, finding a seat next to him. Ally clinked her glass with his and took a sip. She gave a small sigh and rested her head upon his shoulder. This would definitely be a week to remember.

"I think the question you meant to ask was what didn't I find in the kitchen," he said, before glancing round, raising his eyebrows upon seeing her in her swim suit. "And you say I'm not wasting time," he said, before grinning, drinking some of the wine from his glass. She was gorgeous anyway, but in her swimsuit... it wasn't just the air temperature that was getting him hot under the collar.
"Choose the best bedroom?" he asked, smiling at her. That had been the intention of her going first, after all. The wine tasted great, probably the best he'd ever had. The bubbles would probably go straight to his head. "Keen to get in the water?" He'd have to dump his stuff and get changed at some point.

Ally did have some moral decency and slipped on a pair of shorts over her bottom. He was probably dead with the view anyway, he couldn't hold the look in his eyes. But Ally wasn't a 1 piece sort of person. Although she hardly got a chance to wear it, it still fit. She gave a short sigh, taking another slow sip of the sparkling wine, before tuning to answer his question.
"I just got the one closest to the bathroom. It might've been the master. I wasn't sure they're equally huge." she smirked, tipping the glass again. She wasn't ready to get drunk, but damn this wine was good. "Yeah, I'd like to check out the beach of that's okay. I've grown so used to pools anymore, it's been forever since I've been to the ocean, even if it's not completely, 100% real." she chuckled again. "I can wait for you...if ..if you wanna go now."

"That's not even a question," he said, smirking, "of course I want to." He downed the rest of the glass, knowing he'd pay for that later, "I'll be two minutes," he said. Typical bloke, running upstairs, stripping off and pulling on some trunks probably wouldn't even take that.
He sealed the bottle back up, putting it in the fridge for later before grabbing his bag, taking the stairs two by two. She'd been teasing him, of course she'd taken the best room. He went through to the guest room, which was still huge (and had a view down onto the beach), rooting around in his bag. Changing took two seconds, trunks (not speedos, he wasn't that confident) and putting his flip-flops back on, then he jogged back downstairs where Ally was waiting for him. "Ready?"

Ally gave a contented sigh and relaxed into the chair as he left, extending her legs on the small table in front of her. This was going to be an amazing week and she couldn't believe she had it all alone with Luke. Just the thought of it, spread a gin upon her face. Each day she spent with him, she felt the exhilaration of falling even harder for him. She gave a short laugh to herself, was she really feeling like this for someone?
She heard him return and couldn't help but smile again. How did she get so lucky? "That's not a question." she teased back. Instantly her eyes were drawn to his chest. Even though he hadn't removed his shirt yet, she knew it was coming and she was chomping at the bit to see what he was hiding. Ally took another sip of her wine, placing it idly back on the table. She gave a devious, teasing smirk and took off it a sprint towards the beach. "Hurry Up slowpoke." she called over her shoulder for him to follow.

Luke laughed, "you got me," he said, smirking right back at her. He had always been glad that he could keep up the banter with him, he revelled in it, it was something he'd taken from his family environment - there had been an immense amount of teasing around the dinner table. It was terrible sometimes, you couldn't get a word in for quips and jabs and laughter.
"I'll show you slowpoke," Luke chuckled, sprinting after her. She was nearly halfway to the water when he caught up, deciding that if she wanted a race, he was certainly going to give her one. He powered past her, smirking as he closed in on the sparkling blue ocean. He didn't stop, removing his shirt before he hit the water (so it wouldn't get wet), ditching it on the sand before he bounded into the waves with a laugh. He turned round to see Ally coming towards him. "Look who's talking," he teased, reaching out with his arms to catch her.
