Ally shook her head at his chiming jokes. She loved it. He wasn't boring and he kept her busy. She kept it to a low jog and let him win. Eventually she made her way down to the beach, stripping down the denim shorts and running into the crashing waves.
What she wasn't expecting was his open arms. Naturally, she ran straight into his arms, throwing her own around his neck. In that one perfect moment, she looked deep into his crystal blue eyes and felt completely lost. Ever so slowly, she moved forward, hovering her lips right over his. She was edging for a kiss, but in this kiss was much, much more different than before, if he would take it.

Luke caught her, spinning her round as her arms wrapped themselves around his neck, her face reaching in for a kiss. She was so beautiful, there was no way he was going to ruin this moment. He closed the gap between them, his lips closing in her bottom lip, his eyes closing as his hand went up into her hair, his lips moving to a rhythm with hers. This was the moment when he knew that he had completely fallen for the woman in his arms. There wasn't any going back.

Ally pushed forward, suddenly kissing with more intensity. This was it, the moment she had been waiting for. The electricity was wild, shocking passion between the two of them as it surged through thier lips.
She made a small contented noise as she ran her hands up and through his hair. Love? The thought was definately running through her mind more so than before. Was this really happening? She finally pulled back for a breath, her breathing heavy and filled with desire. Maybe they should just swim. Yeah...that would be good.

Luke felt his lips follow her as she pulled away, but managed to resist kissing her further, he needed to breath too after all, he was human. His eyes opened, and he looked into deep gray eyes. Man, the word love was playing on his mind too, but not quite yet, not at this moment.
Looking at her, a smile broke across his face. "Well..." he wasn't sure he quite had the words to describe what had just happened. He chuckled slightly, moving into deeper water, paddling a little. "Water's nice," he said, which had to be the lamest thing he'd said in years.

Ally sucked her bottom lip, still reveling the moment that had just taken place. She looked back up at him, holding back from going in for more. They had a whole week, there was nothing to rush. He made good use of the water, slinking into the deeper waves. She dove under for a moment, to get her hair wet, coming up and tossing all her hair aside. Geeze there was a lot of it. maybe she should get a haircut of something, not without a valid opinion of course.
After arranging her mane along her shoulders, she swam over to Luke. She couldn't help but smile at him, stupidly, foolishly. After a few moments of losing herself in her eyes, she did what any playful girl in her right mind would do. She splashed him. And in that rare moment, she let out the most adorable giggle ever. Not many had ever heard that level of happiness, but here she was, giving it freely to him. He deserved to hear it. She was opening up, loosening up and Luke Martin was getting to know the real Alliana Porter.

Luke watched her as she made sure that she was wet all over. He could feel the hair at the nape of his neck was already, and as he pushed back into a star shaped position for a moment, the rest of his hair soaked through as well. He could probably lie on the water like this for hours, the wave gently rocking him back and to.
Pulling his feet back underneath him, he got a face full of water from Ally. The giggle that followed made him laugh. "Oh, you want to play that game, do you?" he said, splashing her harder, grinning at her. He'd loved playing in the ocean back in Aus when he was a kid, this took him back to then. He'd reached a point in his life where he was really happy, and he didn't want it to ever end.

Ally let loose and splashed back, shielding her face a bit when he returned the fire. It had been far too long since she had played in the ocean, and she was making up for lost time.
She dunked under again, this time, swimming up behind him with a devious smirk, she folded her hands on his head and pushed, forcing him under. It was a dangerous move, considering every time she got so close, she usually ended up kissing him. Not that either of them seemed to protest. She was still surprised how loose and free she was with him, as if she had known him her whole life.

Luke saw Ally go under the water, and began searching round for her. Lucky for her, his vision was still blurred by the water in his eyes, and he didn't see her come up behind him. The next thing he knew, he gasped in some oxygen, his head plunging beneath the waves. He spun round in the water, opening his eyes, reaching out with his hands, tickling Ally's ribs whilst trying not to laugh and let out all the air from his mouth.
Eventually, they surfaced, and Luke wiped the water from his eyes, looking round to smirk at Alliana. This was the most fun he'd had with a woman, with someone, in ages. He also felt so contented, like he could die happy right now - only, he had so much more to live, here, with Ally. Paddling a little, he reached out for her hand, "you have no idea how happy I am right now."

Ally simply beamed. She felt exactly the same way with him. She giggled and buckled under his touch on her ribs, moving a but closer as he pulled her in.
"Probably as happy as you make me." Ally rested her forehead against his gently and cupped his face in her hands. "I needed this...this escape. I'm so glad I met you. You'll never know." She spoke in a gentle whisper, keeping her grey eyes down for a moment, before raising them slowly to meet his.

Luke knew all right, he felt exactly the same way.
They spent a while longer in the water, swimming and playing, before heading back up to the house as the sun began to set. While Ally showered, Luke started cooking dinner. He was pretty good in the kitchen, with his Mom's recipes stored away in his head. He hadn't cooked anything properly in a while, so he may be a bit rusty, but he was sure it would still taste good. The pasta began to bubble, and Luke set about putting the final ingredients into the bolognese sauce. Damn, it smelt good.

Ally had more fun with him during those few hours than she swore she had in years. Being with him made her heart soar. The sun was soon setting, painting the sky in hues of purple, pink in the orange.
The house had two bathrooms, one upstairs and another down. She was more than eager to shed her wet suit and get rid of the grimy sand. Bio synthetics were getting really good these days. A hot shower was exactly what she needed and was fairly quick. Rather than messing with her hair, she dried it and let it curl naturally.
The smell from the kitchen wafted all throughout the house. She trotted down the stairs with a broad smile and followed the amazing smell to find her amazing personal chef. With a sly, smirk, she rested her hands and lower back on the counter. Ally looked at him with sparkling grey eyes and the widest grin. "Is there anything you can't do?"

Luke chuckled when he heard Ally enter and speak. He sprinkled some Oregano into the pan, stirring it a little. "Uh, stand on my head and drink a glass of water?" he offered jokingly, looking at her over his shoulder with a grin. "That's something, right?" Turning the heat down, he let the bolognese bubble away on the stove, the pasta still needing extra time to soften. "Flying a ship and being able to cook isn't exactly everything," he said, turning to face her. "I'm nowhere near perfect. You, on the other hand..." he smiled, reaching over to pull her gently towards him.

Ally gave a small chuckle at his joke, shaking her head a bit. "You're a mess." she teased, watching him finish and abandon the stove a bit to turn to her. There was no protest in being pulled into him, in fact the second he did, she reached up to kiss him again. She desperately wanted to again and no doubt he was after the same goal.
Even though he said he hadn't been with anyone in a while, he was an amazing kisser and she was constantly hungry for more. How could a man be so incredible, and better yet, after her? It was mind blowing, but then again, he really didn't know her like he thought he did and she wanted to keep it like that for as long as possible. She pulled off and kissed him again, breathing heavy over his lips. "You taste like honey..."

"Completely," he pretended to agree, locking his lips with hers. It felt like they were magnets, they tried to stay apart but this invisible force kept pulling them back together. He couldn't keep his hands off her, or his lips away from hers. If he was an amazing kisser, then she was just as good or better.
"Funny," he said, considering he hadn't been anywhere near honey recently, "would it be cheesy if I said you tasted like heaven?" He grinned at her, before reaching back round to check on the food. Tasting the pasta, he found that it was done, so he turned the stove off and began reaching for a couple of bowls. "Could you be a dear and set the table?" he said, smirking a little, "unless you fancy eating with your fingers? Or maybe like a dog out of its bowl."

'It's not cheesy, it's sweet.." she smiled up at him, biting her bottom lip again. "I don't think anyone's ever told me that before, but then again I've never been in...I mean, I don't think I've ever been this serious...I think we're serious..I.." She let her words trail off from her foolish blunder. Did she almost say what she thought she almost said? Where the hell did that come from?
Setting the table was good excuse to escape the awkward bubble she had just formed. She grabbed the bowls and set them out with two placemats on the patio table. She sat down, also awkwardly, folding her hands in her lap as her eyes shifted to the fridge. Would he get the wine again? Should he?
