"Right." she nodded with a reply. Now she was stuck with this. She followed him down through the corridors of the ship down to the ship's hanger. Nervous was a bit of an understatement right now. She was a frantic mess. Hopefully she could hide it. Ally stumbled out into the bright light, tripping up a bit, but she would manage. Damn it was bright.
he was quiet, but so was she. They weren't big on conversation, probably never would be. Silence was always better, well, usually. He was a bit faster than her, but nothing she couldn't keep up with. "I can keep up just fine, thank you.' she snipped a bit, confident in her own speed. She held her hands to her waist, catching a breath as they rounded another corner in a sneaky manner.

Will chuckled lightly as she quipped, "I have no doubt," he told her. They passed between another couple of buidlings before he brought them both to a halt. By his judgement, they'd run the two blocks, now all they needed to do was find the Private. Surely a noise or something would alert them to his presence. Unless he was already injured or dead. That would be just perfect.
He took a breath, glancing over his shoulder at Alliana, "any ideas?" he asked. Usually, he didn't solicit advice from others, but on this occasion, they needed all the help they could get.

Alliana pressed her back up against the wall, breathing deep, still a tad nervous. She furrowed her brow in slight confusion when he asked if she had ideas. idea? ideas for what? She was a science officer, she had never even touched a gun. This was tactical...military..guy stuff. Despite being a little rough around the edges, she still preferred cupcakes to explosions.
"Ideas? What? No I don't have any...." She lowered her voice to a whisper, realizing in her confusion the volume it had grown to. She shook her head a bit, still trying to figure him out. Why had she said yes to this little adventure anyway? It was bloody dangerous and she was beginning to feel like a small, lost child out of her element.

”Just asking,” he said. Will had a few ideas, but if she’d had a better one, then he would have considered deferring to hers. Giving them both a moment to catch their breath, he mulled over his ideas in his mind, deciding on the best approach to this. Alliana didn’t seem completely into this, which may prevent a problem later on. He wasn’t exactly tactical officer or anything, he didn’t really have any experience, he was just going off what he’d seen and learned.
Finally, he heard a shout. It was faint, but not far away. Doing free running had taught him to be in tune with his senses, you needed them if you were to stay in one piece. ”Okay, we need to see what’s going on first before we run in,” it was common sense, ”I’m going to climb up there,” he nodded towards some scaffolding on the side of the building, ”and see what I can see. You can either stay here, or see what you can scope out from the ground.” He waited for her decision.

Ally gave a heavy, obvious sigh and rolled her eyes. "Whatevah." she huffed again. As soon as they had caught their breath and sneaking he did it again. ran off like a wild animal. Great, just great. Did he even know what he was doing? Once he stopped his mindless running he began scampering up some scaffolding. Her choices were stay here or stay here.
Ally shook her head and folded her arms. "I guess I'll just stay heah. " She could easily defend for herself. Protection wasn't something she usually needed, unless of course some had a gun, but that was beside the point. She watched him make his way up and she slunk to safety f the shadows. What was she supposed to be looking for again?

Wow, this was going great. Not. He jogged over to the scaffolding, hoisting himself up using his arms, quickly making his way up several stories until he reached one with boards down which the builders could work along. He then crept over to the edge, peering down to see if he could see anything.
He heard another shout, his head whipping round, finding that the commotion was going on just out of sight around the next corner. At least he knew exactly where they were now. He clambered up onto the roof quickly and easily, peering over; there were several men surrounding a man who Will could only assume was Private Willis. Shouldn't be too hard to get the jump on them.
Jogging back across the roof, he dropped down onto the scaffolding, looking to see where Alliana had got to. He could just about see her in the shadows, and another figure too, approaching her from behind. "Alliana!" he hissed, trying to alert her to the fact that she was being ambushed.

Ally huffed in annoyance. Well this sucked. It was far from exciting, in fact being left here was pretty much downright lame. She watched Will disappear on the room above her, and with another heavy sigh, she hit her back against the wall with a thump. A few loose bangs escaped her ponytail and hung idly in her face. She blew them off, slouching more into the wall. This was far and beyond for what she wanted for the day.
Will's voice made her jump and she turned just in time to see what he was warning her for. Her ambusher was ready, armed with a knife, rather than a gun, thank God. She was in an alley way after all, and considering she was more than easy on the eyes, it almost harrowed on making sense. Almost, he was probably after more, not that she would take a chance to let her guard down. The attacker held a strong build, large muscles, a strange darkness in his eyes. Ally took a deep breath, clenching her teeth as he came to her like a flash of light.

"Crap," Will muttered. It wasn't like he could do anything from up here, and by the time he got down to the ground, he didn't know whether it would be too late. Maybe shouting her name would by him enough time to scale back down the scaffolding. He'd already started making his way down before the thought process had finished, watching what was going on over his shoulder as he went.
Dan lumbered towards the dark haired woman, his orders clear. Get rid of her and anyone else who was listening. They didn't want anyone knowing what they were doing here. This unsuspecting military grunt could be their ticket to a lot of the information that they wanted, they were lucky, and they didn't want anyone to screw it up. He lunged for Alliana with all of the force of his muscle behind him, the knife aiming for her heart.

His aim was off by three quarters of an inch, that and he was no match for her. She took another short breath, slipping to the side and forcefully grabbing his fore arm. He pulled back, but she sunk her fingernails deep into his arm, slinging him like a whip to the wall. The oaf of a man muttered some curse in her direction but she knew he was just brawn without the brains. Fights took physics, that and skill. Thankfully she knew both.
He came at her again, but she was ready for him. He threw a punch, then another, both missing. She ducked with each attempted blow, stepping on his foot, then, driving her elbow into his side, kidney actually. It would bruise for sure. he doubled, but she still held his foot. Rather than letting him get a grip, she jabbed him again, feeling a rib crack. "Bitch.." he growled. She had the lead now.
he fell to his feet, but was up again. Alliana stood her ground, standing tall and quite proud for being so out of practice. He grumbled again, coming at her back, arm looping around her neck. Ally sputtered for breath suddenly, kicking into the air, or at least trying to aim and push him into a wall. His grip was tightening around her slender neck and she had too much to live for to let him off that easily. Thud She finally managed her footing to slam his back up against a wall. He didn't let go just yet, but his brip lessened with the blow, she slipped out like a shadow, desperately searching for something to beat the living breath out of him. Damn her neck hurt, and a headache was beginning to pound. She had to get rid of this guy.

Will dropped the last two storeys of the scaffolding, landing in a crouched position before spinning round to watch Alliana's skillful take down of the blundering man with the knife. He had to be about twice her size and yet she was treating him like a punching bag full of air. As the fight went on, he could see her getting more wary, he'd almost stepped in when the man had his arm wrapped tightly around her neck, but had refrained, she appeared to have a handle on things. He moved round to a better vantage point.
As Alliana searched around, the guy rose up behind her, preparing to strike. Unfortunately for him, Will acquired his knife and smacked him in the back of the head with the force of a hammer, using the butt of the knife. The guy crumpled to the ground. Will tossed the knife to the side, not intending to have any blood on his hands tonight. "I'm impressed," he said, letting her know that he was there, figuring she would have heard the guy's body slam to the ground. "You would have had him too." If Will hadn't interrupted, and if she'd been able to locate something to attack the guy with. "Didn't mean to steal your thunder," but they had more important things to deal with.
