Sub-Plot - Division

It’s been over a month since the incident on the Oceanic, and the crew are making progress on discovering the causes of these rifts and anomalies.

After a mass tactical movement by the terrorist group R4, it is clear that they are affiliated with these rifts and anomalies – whether they are the sole cause has yet to be discovered.



Penn Gwyther and Benjamin Braun have requested to investigate the rifts further, taking one of the shuttles back to Proxy 5 so that they can start with the scene of the first attack.



First Mate, Jay Johnson, wants to go undercover inside the terrorist base, taking a more inside-out approach as opposed to the outside-in one they’ve employing so far. Annabelle McAdam has agreed to join him, and they’ve been building up contacts for the past month to make their way inside. It is open to other crew members that want to join them.



Meanwhile, the other crew members have been called to Aqua Marina, a city on Beta Cygni, to a school which is dealing with the outbreak of a disease with no known cure. They believe it is being caused by resistant nanobots, injected into the children’s blood stream, but they could be wrong.
Leaving the medical team at the school, the other crew members take the ship back into orbit for repairs. Unfortunately, the ship’s engine’s malfunction, and the ship plunges into the ocean, taking the crew with it. As it sinks into the ocean, the pressure begins to strain on the walls of the ship. Can they fix the ship’s engines before the gravity of the water crushes the ship completely?

I think Katy would have a blast onboard the Venia-- maybe someone will actually teach her how to work the food machines! However, if you need to do some people shuffling for whatever reason, feel free to nudge her around.

Hm... Julia would be great undercover, methinks. But I'm not entirely sure whether she's part of the medical team. If so, she'd likely go with the others to Aqua Marina.

Katy is definitely on the Venia, that's fine, we can have as many people on there as need be.

I've tentatively put Julia in the undercover team, but might change that later if lots of people want to go undercover xD

I think it might be good for more crew bonding, and Alliana's not amazing in the medical field anyway, so It might just be a fail if she went.

Natalie Fairholm - I guess she would probably be on the Venia. Now that the Cheif Engineer is gone, if the engines have failed it'd probably be a good idea if she was there to help fix them, or at least find out what happened.

Mei Tao - Ugh, I reeeeally want to put her undercover, but since she's a scientist it would probably make more sense if she was on Aqua Marina. You know, studying the kids' bloodwork with the Medical Officers for a more scientific view and all that.
