He didn't stop! It was terrible. And yet... funny. Why was she finding him funny? It was the alcohol, that had to be it. He was a long way off getting her to sing for him, that was for sure, no matter how drunk he got her.
"Carrots, easy," she said, with a smirk, "worst relationship was probably Jimmy Parker in fifth grade. He had braces and an overactive imagination. Best... oooooh," she had to think about this one. Her first instinct had actually been to say Will, but actually, "Tom Harrison, not too long ago. It was more casual than anything, but amazing." Maybe that would make Wally jealous. "And as for the last question..." she left a long, suspenseful pause, "if I liked the guy then I wouldn't say no."

Wally wasnt at all phased by her admitting she'd had a wild and enjoyable fling. He'd had a few of them himself... not since he'd had his accident though. He'd only had one kind of relationship but it had been with a physical therapist and she ended up dumping him.
"Ah. Yeah I agree, carrott all the way." He smirked and inwardly thought if she thought that guy blew her mind than she should give him a try.
He nodded and smiled at her, reaching over to stroke his finger down her arm again, this time touching the one that could feel it. "I'm glad to hear that." He then downed the drink and decided he'd had enough.

Lizzy swallowed, warm blood rushing to her cheeks as he stroked her other arm. She could definitely feel that. Taking a breath, she pushed her empty glass away, looking over at Wally with her large brown eyes. Him being in a wheelchair didn't bother her in the slightest, it was more his charming air, and the fact that although she had tried her hardest not to fall for it, she had, hook, line and sinker.
"Umm," she said, not entirely sure what to say now after that remark. It felt like a natural place to leave the conversation if nothing else was going to happen between them. She certainly didn't need another drink.

He could see he'd flustered her and judging by the flush in her cheeks she definately wasn't completely turned off to the idea of him. "So that Tom guy. Is he still around? Or would you be interested in another guy trying to take his place?"
He crossed his arms infront of him, leaning in but reframing from touching her. What he was offering had a hint of sensuality in it, but he wasn' such a jerk that he'd push for something from a lady that she didn't really want to give. Mostly he just wanted to find out where he stood with her.
He could see she was a bit more flustered than he anticipated though and he sat up a little and frowned. "Lizzy?"

Lizzy blinked at him, realising that he was speaking to her. Who else would he be speaking to? There's no one else in the room. "Tom, he, uh, no, he's not in the picture any more, no." She bit her lip when he asked if she would be interested in another guy taking his place. He meant him, of course, that was clear enough. To be honest, what with bumping into Will when she'd first come on board, and stuff with Sean, she hadn't thought about herself and a relationship with a guy, but actually... "yes."
"I would be interested."

Her answer made Wally genuinely smile, not a goofy grin but a real smile. He knew when he first saw Lizzy that they were kindred spirits. "Well then what are we sitting here for." He put his palms down onto the counter and swung into his wheelchair. "Let's go."
He backed away from the counter, waiting for her to come around to meet him. He held out his hand to her, "Sit down," He said as he offered his lap...

It took a moment, but a smile spread across Lizzy's face too. If someone told her when she'd woken up this morning that this was going to happen to her, she wouldn't have believed them. Sliding off the stool gracefully, she walked round to his side. It took a moment for her to realise what he wanted her to do. "Oh!" she said, feeling a little stupid not realising right away. Taking his hand, she set herself down gently, wrapping an arm around the back of his shoulders so that she didn't fall off or anything like she knew she would.

Wally adjusted her arm so it went around his neck and then took her other arm so it did the same. "Hold on tight" He said before he placed his hands on the wheels and took off. On the wheels, he burst through the door, roaring past whoever waited in the corridore and soared down the hall. He gritted his teeth a bit, focusing on keeping in control but giving Lizzy a thrill.

Putting her other hand around him was probably a wise idea with the speed he took off at, careering around people in the corridor like he was in a race car, and they were a chicane. If she hadn't been holding on tight, like instructed, she probably would have lost her balance and flown off. When they came to a halt, she had to actually smooth down her hair. "Whoa."

Wally panted a little but he still smiled as he looked up at her. "We're here." He said, turning the wheels slightly so she could look. They were actually outside a door that had a lock on it down a corridor away from most. He'd gone pretty far from the mess hall and past the engineering section.
"I think I saw the captain back there. Hope he thinks i'm the other guy in the wheelchair on this ship with the sexy brunette on his lap." He laughed and reached for the lock. "Hmm... this wasn't here before. Think you can manage that?" She probably could more likely get inside a locked room better than he on that ship.

Lizzy actually had no idea where they were, but she'd indulge him for now. She snorted at his comment, "oh, men in wheelchairs with sexy brunettes are common on this ship, are they?" The lock was opened using a four digit code. There were standard codes for the ship, which she tried first, it took a few attempts, but the door eventually came open. "Voila," she smiled round at him, not realising initially how close her face was to his while she was sat in his lap.

Wally turned his face to find hers so close to his and he was taken a back slightly. He could smell her shampoo and his heartbeat pulsed. He placed his hands on the wheels and slowly went into the room. It was all dark, pitch black. He turned the chair and moved carefully his hand reaching up to run along the wall.
"Let's seeee uhhh...there it is." His hand found the switch and there was a sound of gears moving and then a dim light appeared. The room they were in was fairly large and the light got bigger and bigger. Several huge panels were slowly rising upward. As they did more and more natural light spilled in on the empty room, showing a brilliant display of stars and space.

At first, Lizzy couldn't see a thing when they entered the room, all she could hear was Wally breathing, then speaking. Then with a flick of a switch, shutters moved out of the way, and as the room filled with light, Lizzy's eye shone.
"Wow," she breathed, staring out at the stars with wonder, "it's so beautiful." It was strange, they lived in a ship travelling through space, and yet, she never looked out of the window. She always had her head under a console, behind a machine, or her eyes tightly closed in bed.
"How did you find this place?"

Wally saw she liked it and he beamed. He wheeled them over to the window, it going from floor to ceiling. "Where at the tail of the ship I figure. I was just kind of looking around my first day here when I found this room open and the windows up, but no one was here.
He looked up to see the lighting illuminate her face and he took in a quick breath. She looked amazing in the starlight. "Starlight." He said with a smile, "Your eyes and hair look like starlight..."

Wally was so lucky to have found this place. She was glad he'd brought her here; it was amazing, awe inspiring even. 'Starlight' she looked round at him, a soft smile on her face as he spoke the next words. Her lips parted slightly, and slowly, she leant in, kissing him gently on the lips. "Thank you," she whispered.
