Personality:
Lizzy is a lot of fun to be around. She's a bit of a klutz, so she has a tendency to trip over her own feet and injure herself accidentally at least once a day. On the other hand, she has brilliant reflexes, so if things go flying, she can nearly always catch them, and if she goes flying then she will always land on her feet. She's bright and sunny most of the time, always has a big smile on her face, especially when she's working. She's funny and not to be underestimated when it comes to wit.
There is a flip side, one which has never really got over the death of her brother, the trauma of the plane crash, or her parents break up. She can get fits of depression if she's not careful, so tries to keep upbeat in order to hide it and keep it at bay.

History: Lizzy was born to an Italian chef and an American taxi driver in New York City, around four weeks earlier than she was expected, so she gave her mother and the passenger a bit of a surprise when she decided she wanted to come while her mother was working a shift in her cab. Luckily for the both of them, the passenger happened to be a doctor, and although a little small, she was born healthy.
Her father brought her up with a healthy appreciation of food, how flavours blended together, what tasted good and what didn't. Her mother was a little more distant, but was still great with her when she was around. Another two years after she was born, her baby brother came along, Dustin, and she loved the little brat, even if he did have a habit of stealing her toys, or pulling the heads off her dolls.
Lizzy was interested in maths and science from an early age. Her father first noticed her tendency towards engineering and architecture though when she was three, when she built a replica of the Eiffel tower out of waffels. He encouraged her interest strongly, and she pursued maths through school, crunching numbers, but also dabbling in art and design as well. She helped design a working model of a new state of the art engine in High School, and got to show it off at a convention - that was where she first met Will Blake.
When she was eighteen however, she and her brother were flying back from California after a visit to their Aunt and Uncle when the plane hit turbulence and crashed. Lizzy was the only survivor, and she had to have extensive surgery, the whole of the left side of her body reconstructed using mechanical replacements and advancements in robotics.
The death of her brother tore her parents apart, and they divorced almost as soon as Lizzy was well and back on her feet. Lizzy didn't feel welcome at home any more, and so took off to London where she attended LIST (London Institute for Science and Technology) and studied a double major, engineering and architecture. Originally she had wanted to continue her architecture after college, but after bumping into Will again, and spending a fair amount of time with him, she focused on her engineering instead.
They went their separate ways after college, no one ever really knew why, but now the UGAP have recruited her on board the Venia, and neither of them have any idea that the other is on board.
Random Facts:
- Can't have children.
- Had to have several body parts replaced with bioengineered technology after the plane crash including: two ribs, an arm, a lung, her liver, and a kidney.
