Lizzy and Wally had made a deal, the next time they stopped off on a planet, they had to go somewhere together. Lizzy had imagined going and doing something fun, but obviously something that Wally could do, she wasn't going to parade the idea of something that he couldn't do in his face and get all excited about it, that wouldn't be fair or fun, despite how much they teased one another. The thing was, their next stop off happened to be on New Earth, and Lizzy had an appointment to visit the medical facility there, just to check all of her bio-engineered parts were still in working order.
But that would be boring.
She tracked down Wally in the gym, where else was he going to be?, and asked him if he didn't mind her going to that first before they found something else to do, and he'd surprised her (again) by saying that he actually wanted to come along. So, now they were making their way to the facility.
It was chilly out, so Lizzy was wrapped up in a coat and a scarf, she shivered against the breeze. "You'd think it was winter here already."

Wally chuckled as he pressed the switch on his chair, a soft humming came from it as he glided smoothly beside her. This chair he had was very expensive and yet he didn't use it except when he would be going for extensive journeys. It had a high back and arm rests, making it easy to travel and very comfortable. He looked up at Lizzy and saw her shiver. He too was somewhat bundled, but wore jeans and hooded jacket. He had his hands in the front pockets of the jacket, occasionally glancing forward to see where he was going.
"So how long do these appointments usually take? Should I just wait outside?" He questioned casually. He wouldn't mind waiting.

Lizzy glanced across as Wally, "oh, well, they're just going to do a quick scan, make sure everything is still working, then reflex tests and stuff. Usually it takes about half an hour," that was a blessing. When she'd first had the operation, they used to drag her in each week for over two hours of tests. "You can wait outside, you can come in with me, or you can go do something else if you want," she said with a slight shrug and a smile, "we don't want you getting bored now, do we?"
They turned the corner, and Lizzy shoved her hands in her pockets. This part of New Earth was simply beautiful. They'd set the medical centre away from the larger cities near one of the planet's massive lakes in the mountains. Seeing as the medical centre was also a place for recooperation, it made sense that it would be in such a lovely place. She could imagine people injuring themselves on purpose to come here.
