Personality:
Silk’s the kind of girl that goes to dates carrying both her lipstick and her stun gun in her clutch. No matter what she’s doing there’s weapons involved. Some have called her obsessed in fact. If you really want to be on her good side you talk weapons with her, anything from the little hand helds to the cannons on the ships she loves.
She likes to party and have fun but her really wild days are behind her. On a ship with a real job she’s quite serious. Doing what she loves, she takes it serious that she’s in charge of making sure everyone is properly equipped.

-Whiney Bitches. She thinks if their man is looking at her then they must be doing something wrong.

History:
Born to probably the most prideful man on Delta Prime, Silken Floss had little going for her. Her dad never worked and her mom had to support the family. Thus she kind of became a tomboy, following in her fathers footsteps. Her dad was an alcoholic but not in an abusive way, and he taught her a lot of what she knows about guns. He used to watch the tube and show her the different kinds out there. He also showed her how to assemble and disassemble the few junky pieces of weaponry he had.
When she turned sixteen she started hanging around an old repair shop and became a sort of grease monkey. By the age of twenty Silk could fix anything from a broken illuminator to an old rusted hover-car. But her most favorite thing to get her hands on has always been the weaponry.
Around the age of seventeen things started to change for her and boys really started showing interest. Well and by interest I mean they came around drool like a dog looking at a steak. Silken learned very quickly that she was attractive and she learned she could use this to her advantage.
After graduating from high school she worked her way through Tec college, getting an associates and then masters in mechanics. She went on to specialize in weapons when she had a boyfriend that wanted to get her onboard a ship with him. He convinced his captain they needed a weapons specialist and the man was so impressed with Silks abilities she’s been going from ship to ship ever since.
The fleet is starting to install similar employment for other ships due to the recent R4 attacks.
Random Facts: Silken Floss was named so because her mother got to name her Brother after her favorite cartoon character. The name Silken Floss was kind of her fathers revenge. She was his favorite comic book girl.
