And she’s stunning, of course. Let’s not forget that.



Plus, she’s brilliant at languages. She won an award for
using her linguistic skills for Humanitarian purposes, only
at the age of 21. Much more than I can say for myself.



Then there are my Grandparents. Raised me after my
Dad died. Ignore the weird thing grinning between them.



Being attacked by my cousin at Graduation.



Attending a seminar on linguistics with Zoe. I like the way
I have to concentrate while she sneakily takes pictures.



Dan. Idiot. Never deserved Zoe, was glad when they broke
up, even if I was left to pick up the pieces.

My best friend of two years. We have been practically inseparable.
She's beautiful, and funny, and delights in poking me, physically
and verbally whenever she can manage it. Which is often.

And then there's Eva.




Tall. Gorgeous. Deadly. To be honest, I have no idea why she's
hanging around with a goofy guy like me, even if we've got
history. But hey, not complaining!
