Personality:

Despite the bad reputation that most telepaths receive, Sean is a surprisingly kind man--largely because he dislikes violence, though not for the same reason as most. His reasoning for refraining from violence is due to the fact that it leads to excessive emotions, and when emotions run high peoples' thoughts are projected louder than when they're calm, making it far harder for him to block them out. And so, by being a nice guy, he is less likely to run across people who are in towering moods of any description.

History:

All that Mr and Mrs Irvine got to give their son was his name, Sean Aaron Irvine, before the boy was taken away from them by the Telepath Corps. He was taken to a institute for children with "special abilities" and grew up there, living with at least a dozen other children--all of them learning how to control their telepathic abilities. Aside from how to properly use his ability and the basic thing (such as Math, English, Social Studies, Science, etc), he was also taught how to read mannerisms and some the most common body-language, as well as how to care for and use a multitude of weapons.

In the end, not all of the children pulled through--for some, the training was too vigorous or intense, for others they simply couldn't master their abilities. They either died from the exertion, or were taken away to either be locked up, for their own safety as well as the safety of others, or to be put-down as if they were animals. Sean was among the four telepaths who made it out alive, and his first course of action after graduating from the institute was to get as far away from it as he could. He fled to Delta Prime, and it was where he'd been living ever since.

He managed to stay below the radar, living happily enough in a small flat on the outskirts of Metropolis, for a good five years. But then the problems with R4 arose, and UGAP contacted him, requesting his help on a mission to stop the said terrorist band. He reluctantly agreed, and is now working aboard the Venia.

Random Facts: The reason he likes being active and listening to music is because they help him tune out the rest of the world, which means others' thoughts, as well as his own, are less likely to pester him.
