Luke tensed as she fell against him, clutching onto him tightly like she never wanted to let go. It took him a few moments, but he eventually wrapped an arm around her shoulders, sucking his bottom lip in as he rested his chin against the top of her head. He still wasn't sure what he wanted, how he wanted this to go, how soon he could accept her back, but her touch was still somewhat comforting - which was a relief. "It's okay," slipped from his lips again, he was beginning to think he was telling himself as much as he was telling Ally.
Seeing movement out of the corner of his eye, he saw Georgie step out tentatively onto the beach, hoping to spy a reunion no doubt. A smile flickered across her face when she saw them hugging, and nodded to her brother. Pulling away from Ally, his hand trailed down her arm. "Come on," he said, "we can talk back at the house, where there's tissues."

Ally gave a faint smile as she felt his chin against her hair. Sniffling up a few tears, she gently looked up at him. 'I....forgive you. I have...a million and..." She knew this wasn't easy for him. He could have easily just pushed her away, yelled at her, but he didn't. She could tell he hadn't fully accepted her, but he...hadn't rejected her, and that was what mattered.
"I'm sorry..." she breathed again, pulling back from him. She couldn't bring herself to kiss him yet, they were definitely nowhere close to being where they once were. Georgie came up, smiling at what she saw as repair. They weren't as close as it seemed. Addy tried to force a smile, but it still hurt her inside. At least she made some sort of progress with him, so all was not lost.
