Dee walked into the gym with her yoga mat, towel, and water bottle in hand. She was used to doing Bikram Yoga, but until she worked out a space to facilitate that, doing the poses in a general area would have to do. She walked over where the medicine balls were and laid down her materials and spread out her mat. She began a sun salutation, completely in her own world. She stretched, touched her forehead to her knees, lunged, and went into a plank as well as many other poses. She ended up in a simple resting position and just breathed. "This is lovely. Such a great place to clear my head. I should get others to join me in the future...," she thought.

The AI Boxing machine had become her greatest nemesis. After long hours in the lab and time when she wasn't with Luke, Alliana had spent her time in the gym working out. It kept her muscles tight, her abs flat and usually wore her out enough for an afternoon nap. She threw a punch, missed and was slung like a rag doll to the ground. Bloody things were smart, learning to moves and anticipating others, if you used them too often. Ally had. She got up again, throwing a punch to the jaw. The AI stumbled back, regaining its capabilities before turning to punch her hard in the jaw. She didn't lose often, but she had lost today.
She winced, gritting her teeth from the pain it had caused. It felt like a pinched nerve, or maybe just needed to be popped now. "dammit." she called out to the ceiling. "Module, turn off. " With a small click the AI system shut itself down, wheeling and folding up into the corner where it was kept. She ran her hands down her face in defeat and spread her arms out, staring at nothing.

Dee was knocked out of her concentration by the sound of Ally being defeated by the machine. She opened her eyes and looked over at the poor woman on the other side of the gym. She heard her curse and then turn off the machine. "Looks like I have my first pupil," she said softly, rising gracefully from her position. She wiped any sweat off with the towel and thought, "I wonder what happened today with her. I can see from here that all her muscles are tensed." Her brow furrowed in concern as she examined Ally's body from a distance, looking for what areas need the most work.
When she got over to where Ally was standing, she was staring into space as if in deep thought. Dee waved her hand in front of her face. "Tough day?," she asked her.

Ally blinked once, twice, then propped herself onto her elbows to assist what had just happened. She opened her mouth to speak, then closed it again. What was her name again? The weird one at the dinner party? Nothing came to mind. After being defeated my a machine, she wasn't particularly in a mood to be chatty. Buts, seeing as being rude wasn't an option for her anymore, she simply had to breathe deep and force out words.
"Tough machine." she replied, pushing herself to her feet. She stretched and felt her back pop. She mouthed an 'ow' and settled onto her feet. Alliana porter, I believe we met at the banquet." There, introductions should be out of the way now. She would probably just try to be friendly, and hopefully..not be...well, frankly and weirder.

Dee smiled broadly at her, clearly in a great mood. All she could think of was how exciting it was to be talking to someone other than her plants. Ally didn't seem like she particularly wanted to chat, and Dee appreciated her willingness to be nice to a stranger. "Yes, I remember you. I'm Dee Johnson." She momentarily looked back to her yoga mat and then to Ally. "I was just over there doing some yoga poses and couldn't help but notice that you had some discomfort. If you'd be open to it, I could show you some poses for stretching out different muscles. It should help alleviate any pain you have, as well as de-stress you."

Ally looked with her. Yoga? Absolutely not. After getting her ass whupped by the bloody machine, all she wanted was a hot shower and a long nap. She had done her duty for the day. "Machine kicked my butt. It knows me to well. I was just about to head out, but thanks for the offer. I....I'm not really a yoga person." she stammered, trying to think of how to get out of this.
With another heavy sigh she stretched again, reaching her hands as high as they would go. Her back popped in a different place. Her nap was looking so incredibly good right now. She gave a faint smile, and tried to plot her escape.

"Well, that's the beauty of yoga. You don't have to be an expert at it to reap its glorious benefits. And it really will help your muscles. ...Much more than a hot shower will," she replied, knowing Ally's probable destination. She could tell Ally really wasn't interested, but Dee was determined to bring more people on board.
She smiled when Ally stretched her hands up. "See? You're already doing it! A more balanced version of that is one of our most basic poses." She demonstrated for her, breathing deeply with closed eyes. She opened them after ten seconds, lowered her hands, and smiled at her. The look on her face was one almost of pleading, but more of hope.

Reap it's glorious benefits? It was stretching in weird positions. She failed to see anything fabulous about that. Her roommate one year in college had taken up pilates and she liked it for a bit, but she was far more a fan of sweating and roughing something up. Alliana was more the type of girl to make something bleed, not stretch.
The purpose of my hot shower, is to also prepare me for my nap. I'd rather breath in steam, than form myself into stretches I know I can't manage,." she chuckled lightly, every word completely serious as it rolled off her lips. The stretch she was doing now, was merely that. A stretch. In no way exercise or any way she would even want to exercise. "Listen, it's very kind of you, but I should really..really get going."

Dee chuckled. "I can tell you don't believe in this kind of stuff. I can see you're the kind of girl that would rather punch something, sweat a ton, and endure a lot of pain when you exercise. You probably think that yoga is some sort of wimpy excuse for a physical activity. But if you look at my body, my muscles are just as toned and just as stron as yours, but they are more limber than yours. And normally, I practice Bikram Yoga, which is done in a heated room, much like your hot shower. And the positions I was going to suggest are things you can definitely handle, and they WILL loosen your muscles and stop any pain you have. THEN, you can go have your shower and nap." She smirked at her.

It didn't help that this woman was blocking the doorway. Great, just sodding great. Did she just say she as going to STOP her from leaving? Oh hell no. "Look, I didn't say anything about your yoga. Each to their own mate. I know what I prefer and what you prefer. Now if you'll excuse me, I'd like to go rid myself of this sweat." She smirked, raising an eyebrow slightly. There, that could've been worse. She could have been rude...er.
Ally placed her hands in front of her, showing that she meant no harm, just that she wanted through. Dee didn't look like she was in the mood to move. She wouldn't mind moving her, even though she would rather not.

Dee smirked, knowing she was blocking the doorway. "Look. Obviously you have some sort of image to protect or something, but you're honestly gonna walk away and say that you won't at least try it? This is my career. I've made a living practicing natural medicine. So, if you still wanna walk away, go ahead, but this really will help you."

Alliana inhaled a deep slow breath, exhaling slowly through her nose as she clenched her jaw. Her grey eyes were almost frightening, as she set them into Dee's. "Fine whatever. Show me a few poses or whatever, but just make it quick okay? If I can't have my shower, I'd at least prefer my nap."
Ally tossed her towel away from her neck and placed her bottle back on the floor as she stepped back to let dee lead her. Why did she have to be nice? WHY? It was almost crippling her now. She didn't like yoga, didn't even want to think about it, but now, because she had feelings, she felt sorry for the woman whom, she had observed, didn't exactly have many friends. Ally was well liked, met her best friend and lover on board. Dee had considerably less. Damn her guilt trip.

Dee grinned broadly and motioned her over to the mat. "Alright, just lay down on the mat..." She reached down and raised her right arm to rest above her head. "Okay, shift your hips to the right slightly."

The yoga stuff was harder than she expected. She laid down, like Dee had shown her and forced herself into the right position. That was anything but fun. She mouthed an 'ow' as her muscles stretched. Everything from her hips to her shoulder pulled, and her back was practically screaming now. "Am I even doing this right?" she asked, scrunching up her nose from the slow burn that hard started.
Ally craned her neck around the Dee's smiling face. Was this woman on drugs or something? She was way to happy with this. And now, there was no escape, no way out of this forced madness.

Dee chuckled as she saw Ally's face scrunch up. "The burn will be gone in a second." She reached her hands over to Ally's right knee and gently moved her bent leg across her body. "Alright, now turn your head towards your arm and breathe with me." Dee began breathing in and out at a slow, steady rhythm and smiled as she could tell her back was relaxing and her muscles were stretching out.
